AK Sucks in Olympics Operner Vs. GB -- only scores 35

So Brazil does not have actually NBA players?.... think dumbass, think, strain that IQ of 75, maybe you get my point....

You're right. Nene, Varejao, Splitter (garbage point players) = Gasol Brothers (the most skilled bigs in the game). Hell, Marc could easily make the case for being one of the top centers in the league. Varejao? Splitter? Nene? Not quite. If Dwight Howard or Bynum had half his (gasol's) skills or brains, they'd average over 40 points per game.

Not to mention Spain's superior wings.

But that's ok. AK is the best and if he ever fails it's because of others. Never because of his horrible jumper, bad gambling defense, lack of strength, no offensive moves, or lack of a heart.

When even Phil Johnson has come out and stated that AK didn't play nearly as hard after the max deal as before, that's tellin ya somethin.

Personally, I thought his visa plans during the playoffs had explained enough about AK's commitment to the team. Guess not.

Blind homers will never see this.

So can you folks just leave? Write4u left. Can you?

Who's fault is this?

Jerry's? Duron's? Obama's?

This is the grand daddy of AK47's greatness. It pisses me off to this day. He put up absolutely NO resistance whatsoever... No effort and no heart. But yep. Lets ignore that. It's all Jerry's fault for AK not being a HOF player.

Sorry. Maybe use some of your rubels to buy hooked-on-phonics and improve your English because your point was about as clear as Mark McGwire's acne-ridden face.

Patty Mills just scored 39 against GB. The same team AK scored 35 against.

Australia and Russia have now played all of the same opponents. Patty Mills averages 22.5ppg, AK only 19.5.

Therefore, Patty Mills >>> AK.

P Mills can has $10 mil/yr?

The year AK demanded a trade, didn't he win some MVP award in some international tournament, then put up not so great #'s in the NBA that year?

So to say AK will do great just because he put up 35 pt's in the Olympics is stupid.

this is pretty hilarious... AK went into the spain game as the tournament's leading scorer. he had his first off-shooting night of the games, but was still a difference-maker in that game. but you box score watchers are using that game -- no, not the GAME, but the box score line -- as some sort of proof of AK's flaws. i think that game was a classic example of exactly how unique AK is... the fact that he can have an off-night offensively and still essentially lead his team.

they're now group winners, which means they'll likely win silver at these games behind AK's brilliant play, but go ahead and overanalyze that 2-for-8 to vindicate your bias about the guy.

False. I watched the full game. AK had an off-night and was NOT the leader of the team and NOT a difference-maker.

There was the other guys (Fridzon, Ponkrashov) who stepped up in that game. AK had an average all-around game, nothing more. He even not was the reason of -18 pts comeback.

I think you're having trouble getting oxygen. Take your mouth off of AK's **** for a second and come to. ....there... Better?

Cant we all just agree, even AK lovers, that AK is GREAT, I dare say TOP NOTCH at Euro ball, and decent to above average at NBA ball at this point?
There is nothing wrong with that, but his success in Euro (olympic) games does NOT carry over to the NBA style (talent level). Fact, it just is.

too many jazzfanz are cruel
I hope the AK leads the Wolves to victory over the Jazz this year just to see his haters writhe and suffer.

"Look at me," Kirilenko said, exulting after the game. "I am running like a young deer." (-July 2012)

He was the difference maker in that come back on defensive end. He basically covered the weak side all by himself which allowed double team work against Spain.

This is the real Ak. With 4.1 sec before the last possession by the Australia.

Look, AK is solid, but there always will be someone not so talented but who wants to win more.

Saw it too, and was surprised he didn't play those last four seconds when they needed him for defense. Whose decision was it, the coach or the trainer? It looked like a cut and it was bleeding. Maybe because of that they weren't allowed to put him in. But yeah, I thought he should've been in there. It might've prevented that open look for Mills.
