I'm not understanding why it matters. It's not like this is a long drawn out season where fans are shelling out bundles of money to watch you play your heart out every night or there is some kind of gambling element to it. It's strategy within a short tournament. If they did so, I call it smart.

Not sarcasm. They lost themselves into a game they should've lost had France not fallen apart with a few minutes left earlier today if that's what they were trying to do. I don't have a problem with it. I agree with Manu's brother in that they are definitely cowards for doing so, but I don't see how it's wrong. They've got bullfighting stratagem in their blood. It's not their fault.

To me it matters because it it goes against the whole idea of the Olympics. The Olympics are supposed to be the epitome of what we want our sports and humanity to be.
