Following potential 2013 draftees

With the #18 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, the Utah Jazz select CJ Leslie of NC State (6'9" 200 lbs SF/PF)

A personal favorite of mine, just ask PKM (yes, we know, he has not had the right coach or the right system)

Hell yes. I don't claim to be a good talent evaluator, but every time I've seen this dude he has stood out to me. I'm surprised he didn't come out this year. Where would he have gone if he did, draft expert guys?

With the #48 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, the Utah Jazz select Christian Watford from Indiana University (6'8" 229 lbs SF/PF)

Here is a good video of him

I fully expect PKM to neg rep me for this one.

Here is a highlight video of Christian Watford:

It is very hard a highlight video of this guy that does not include the buzzer beater.

PKM and I have talked about him a little bit. He is playing in a system and under a coach that doesn't know how to use him. He is very skilled (imo) and he also seems to play with some sort of a chip on his shoulder. What I mean by that is anytime he plays against a better team or against a player that is highly regarded he doesn't back down and certainly gets a lot of the spotlight his way. I would love this kid to play on the Jazz. He doesn't have the best outside shot but as you can see he is athletic and knows how t get to the rim and make things happen for his team. He is currently playing PF for NC State.

Probly the only games I've seen of him were in the ACC and NCAA tournaments. He was awesome.

If we go with those very same picks but go off of draftexpress.com and their current player ranking the Jazz daft would look something like this:

#8 Adonis Thomas (Alex Poythress went at #7)
#18 Joshua Smith (Yuck!)
#48 Sergey Karasev (Who?)

Video's will be posted soon.

So you saw him when he stepped up his game. Yes, he was awesome. I wouldn't be ashamed to say that he looked like the best player on the floor most of the time.

During the ACC tourney the announcers kept saying he was finally showing the skill he had.

Besides torturing myself with Utes games, I don't really watch much college ball until the just before conference tournaments start, then I will watch literally every game.

#48 Sergey Karasev

Not much on him but I did find this;

I'd guess C.J. would have gone 30'ish.

Nope, I think he could be a REAL steal in this draft. I expect him to go under-drafted.

I agree with those 3 assessments, lol.

Btw, coming out of HS, Leslie was more highly touted than TJones. Guess who made the wiser college choice? ;)

No, you idiot, he was drafted by the NBA. (and he's still taking classes to get his degree, btw)

Oh. Any specific team or just "team NBA"?

The year we drafted Burks I was mad at TJones for not coming out cuz I wanted us to get him. Who do you think will be better?

Tough call .. but I'd take Burks. Jones is a monster on the boards can be a very special player, but I think Burks has a good 'tude to become a great scorer.

If I was a star basketball player in college when people asked me what I was in school for I'd say "I'm Here to get my NBA." and they'd say "You mean MBA?" and I'd say "Nope".

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Just a little Friday night humor for you folks.
