Here is another from CJ Leslie but this is during his high school days

Well, Jones probly would've gone before #12 in that draft anyways. Plus, him declaring could have had a butterfly effect on the draft causing us to end up jimnering in our pants.

You could say that about 75% of the guys that go to school though. I can easily see a coach/recruiter coming to a player and saying "Don't to to school X because you will not get the looks that you deserve. Instead, come to my school and you will be the STAR player." What that coach/recruiter doesn't say is that the offense will not display that players abilities either but they will be one of the biggest names on the team, ie Quincy Miller, CJ Leslie and a slew of other players.

CJ has the skillz. Needs strength (quite a bit) and he has a questionable work ethic (but not enough that would worry me). I'm kind of meh on Leslie, to tell the truth .. all things considered. I'd put him around 14-16 in this draft, at this early stage.

You should follow PKM's lead and stop drinking. Don't just slow it down, completely stop. It is not becoming of a man of your "intelligence".

I'm good with that assessment. I believe that the Jazz will be drafting in the 14-18 range, either with their own pick or the GST pick. I wouldn't mind a Poythress/Leslie draft. It is possible but highly unlikely.

I predict that, right now, Alex would take CJ to the woodshed.
 
I'm a little disappointed in both UGLI Baby and PKM. I am throwing out gems here as well as some decent work and no reps at all. Very disappointed indeed.

And I predict that Leslie would come out playing with more intensity. I fully agree that Poythress is the better prospect but Leslie is certainly intriguing as well. He would not be a bad consolation prize.

If by 'gems' you mean onyx, pyrite, or maybe a little amethyst, then yeah. I kid. (I've given out too much the last 24 years ... err.. hours..)

I love it when this type of a thread is increasing in activity. The 2012 thread is what kept me coming back to Jazzfanz and now I'm hooked. (I blame PKM, Xthren, Spycam and Cy for my current obsession.)
