Jazzfanz ALL-TIME Fantasy Draft

Being on the ends of a snake draft makes picking increasingly strategic-driven, BTW. Spent too much time on this pick, but I feel really good about it.

I guess my team sucks because they aren't older than dirt.

Hey did you guys know that Wilt Chamberlain once killed a mountain lion with his bare hands? True story. I'm not making that up.

Also the story goes that he could bench over 450lbs. All the stories about him have to be true because there is no proof of it.

Y'all are still sleeping on Wilt. And Robinson couldn't lead a championship team. He got one ring at the end of his career against the Knicks when Duncan overmatched Larry Johnson and Patrick Ewing was out with an injury.

Shaq dominated Hakeem before he fell off the cliff. He was one of the only guys to shut down The Dream. He also went 14-6 against him, but that's not really a fair comparison.

Robinson was still Finals MVP, so...yeah. And he got two rings, not one. Plus, it's not like he needs to be the leader of my team, anyway.

I'm not sleeping on Wilt, I just don't think he would average 50/20 today...anyone who does is clearly delusional. He would probably be something like David Robinson, but not as good of a shooter, but a better rebounder. I think that's a fair estimate.

The rhetoric is awfully high considering we're not even halfway through the 8 rounds.

What are everyone's feelings on doing 10 rounds? I think things are running pretty smoothly now, and I personally feel it would be more fun to form a full team. If it lasts a few days longer, then that's a few days more of the off season we passed by. Thoughts?

Not to mention in the 95 finals, O'Neal still averaged 28 ppg. Hakeem hardly shut Shaq down who was only in his 3rd year.

Let's not forget about nick Anderson's 4 consecutive missed free throws in game one that would have sealed the win for the Magic.

I'd rather do 10.

Right.

A lot of those guys stats from back in the day, like Wilt and Russell's, Are all overly inflated. Just putting up those kind of numbers should raise red flags about what it was like back then. Even when they played each other they would both get 20+ rebounds each. That tells me either they played against a bunch of scrubs or its a lie all together. I won't believe that they were some kind of supermen.

Robinson got beat by Sabonis head to head during the Olympics. Sabonis got gold, Robinson got the bronze.
