In all fairness, drafting late in a contest like this has literally no room for error, and it relies on other people making mistakes. When there are too many other people in the contest, it's tough because there are other people capitalizing on those mistakes. The very top and most recognized players are gone in the first 1 1/2 rounds, so if you don't get one of them, you have to try to get a value pick later that competes with someone else's early pick. Then you have to convince the muppet judges that your scheme makes sense and can whoop everyone else.

In my case, my play was taking KG and having him play out on the floor with a permanent mismatch, and you can see how well that went over.

I think Numberica's front court of Duncan, Mourning and Dikembe can defend most everyone, but Moses Malone is a bigger name who won a ring, so that gets more votes. I think Oscar Robertson can give Kidd more than he can handle, but people don't really know who that player is. Etc. It's precisely because these players are less known or are underrated that caused them to slip lower in the draft in the first place.

Totally agree. I'd like to see the same contest done with about 8 contestents selecting 5 plus a 6th man.
