What's new

Kanter is ripped

You people act like you've never seen a ripped NBA player before. I hate to break it to you but Brian Grant had more muscle definition than Karl Malone (but I'm pretty sure Malone's body fat % was lower.)

Also, I don't buy these claims that Kanter wasn't in as good of shape last year. When he was drafted he was at 5% body fat. He's been a monster since he was 17.

I'll be excited when he runs the floor like Karl Malone* and stops getting the ball torn out of his clumsy hands.

*When I say runs like Karl Malone I mean runs hard all night long. I want him to keep his huge-stepped, lumbering run that I've grown to love :)

This. By God, have any of you seen NBA'ers with their shirts off? I hate to break it to you but they are far more ripped than Kanter. As cut up as he is, you can still see he has a decent little amount of baby fat.

hard work is hard work. dont quote me on it but i think i remeber kanter saying he didnt like that other bigs could move him around down in the post.
but.....they didn't though, he was a wall in the paint.

He did have a very low body fat during the draft, and I've never heard of him being out of shape. I'd be more interested in his skills development especially his fundamentals, though I think that's covered at E3, so I'm looking forward to the results..

(my wife likes the photos though)

Are you sure about big guys? It's pretty common for guards but not so for PF and C to be ripped and under 8% of fat.

I highly doubt it. So far he is not even top 10 player from last year draft.

Classic AKMVP. Remember when he was trying to convince everyone that Hayward shouldn't have even gone top 15?? Saying that Players like PPatt would've been better selections at #9?

Keep making assumptions after a player plays for a single season, it seems to be going super well for ya.

Not giving details about my athletic history, but I once got down to 3.3% body fat and was bleeding from nose regularly and ears a couple times. Was hospitalized for 2 weeks. Kanter looks healthy, lean, fit, and muscular .. but not under 5%.

How can one give details to something that does not exist?

Yes. 3% fat is actually borderline lethal level of fat. Bodybuilders when in competition form are in 3-3.5% fat range.

Classic dalamon. Putting words in my mouth. I never said what you trying to say here dude. I said Jazz missed out on better players like P.George. I said there were numerous rookies who had better season then Hayward - Patrick Patterson included. So please, get your facts straight.

Please. You clearly insinuated that players picked several spots ahead of him would have been better options or the 9th pick. Not gonna bother gathering the post now, Ive already embarrassed you enough with it.

lol, what is this nonsense? You embarrassing yourself by pulling stuff out of your *** kid. To early to have memory loss, are you sure you do not need your brain checked? I repeat one more time. I said there were numerous rookies drafted after Hayward who had better rookie season then him. Nothing what you are assuming or trying to put on me. Stop it.

Yep, O'Connor is genius at trading and drafting in second round but it is mystery why he is so horrible when it comes to drafting in first round ( especially in lottery)

AK was drafted by Layden not O'Connor. Dwill over C.Paul to me was and is bad mistake. Hayward has shown nothing yet to say he was worth 9th pick. Humphries and Snyder when you could have had big Al and Josh Smith? Horrible!!! Lopez over Parker or Arenas? Ridiculous! Borchardt over Boozer? Crap! and so on. anybody remembers Almond, Pavlovic?.. Why none of O'Connor's first round picks in 2000-2009 are with Jazz anymore if he drafted good??? Only Hayward so far on rookie deal. And I think Kanter was bad pick as well but that one is yet to be seen.

And here is the hook line and sinker, really.
Why sudden love for Hayward? What has he done so far? Few good games at the end of the season when nothing mattered?? His rookie season stats are way worse then some other players drafted behind him like Ed Davis, L.Fields or P.Patterson for example...
And you guys have very short memory, O'Connors first drafted pick for Jazz was DeShawn Stevenson. AK was drafted by Layden.

You say his first round picks suck, including his pick at 2010. You then list off players that played better than him who were picked after 9. CLEAR INSINUATION. I know you and your type-riddled posts strongly indicate that proper English isn't your strength, but please try to keep up.

Thanks for proving that I was right and you pulled this stuff >

My derivation from this statement comes from the fact that you YOURSELF stated that Gordon Hayward was a terrible pick at 9th overall. In this thread, you say that you only think we missed on 'better players like Paul George'. Two things:

a) You never singled out Paul George as the clear-cut better player when you were listing players we missed out on. HENCE

--> There must have been OTHER PLAYERS that you think we missed out on, in order for this pick to have been considered terrible.

- you then promptly list a bunch of other players who had better rookie seasons than Hayward

After taking note of this, my next post in this thread was:

Please. You clearly insinuated that players picked several spots ahead of him would have been better options or the 9th pick. Not gonna bother gathering the post now, Ive already embarrassed you enough with it.

Just give up already. Keep clinging to the fact that 'oh awesome, you didn't say word-for-word that we should have picked a specific player at 9th overall'. The rest of us completely understand that this is what you meant with your above posts, as well as understanding how utterly full-of-**** your ball-analytical skills are, if you think that Gordon at 9th overall was a terrible pick.

Kid, you put words in my mouth and now trying to look for excuses??? Point is, I did not say ******** you desperately trying to accuse me. Whatever sick conclusions you are trying to make they are not close to what was said originally.

Keep spinnin' it boy, you're almost there!!!

I am patting myself on the back for sticking to this conversation for so long. Not sure why I expect reasonable dialogue out of someone with the English speaking skills of Enes Kanter himself.
