Werd. Talk about a dorky look. Either suffer through the heat or roll up your sleeves. At least you'll look like you're working hard.

And if you're going to wear tanks or sleeveless T's, don't have a gut!! Otherwise you look like a wife beating redneck.

True..

I must also say, unrelated to the post above, that most fashionistas on this board and their contributions are, well, frightening. Damn.

Love this state, though.

yeah, I don't own a single short-sleeve button up. Bad. I either roll up a long-sleeve shirt or I have a few of these half-button down collarless shirts that rock.

I really don't do short very often.

Try a good workout plan. Once you have some biceps you'll love rocking a well fitted T. That said, even great arms are not enough to justify the dorkiness that is the short sleeve dress shirt.

oops, I meant "shorts".
But, yeah, I need to get to the ****ing gym. I've been reading or writing for 6 straight months. I've lost about 15 pounds. Not pretty.

Used to love those, I just say no, now. Have some awesome Tommy's, but they seem so last century that I can't do it.

PHP:
Agreed on the brand-whoring aspect of certain clothing companies. I Know I personally stay away from companies that are heavy on that sort of stuff.

I certainly DO have favourite brands though. LOVE A.P.C. Paul smith is solid, especially their shoes. Have a couple of Eton ties, among other things.

Who are you to decide what an what isn't pathetic slang ? Aren't you like 40? Sorry I'm not using the word wheel from a 1980s context. Hack.

Who am I? The cunning linguist. But hey, at least you know your own city. Edmonton had 811,000+ people last year. Hack.

A)Edmonton is the northern most city in the world with >1000 000 people, if I'm not mistaken.

Funny thing is, I know a guy from Edmonton and he said the same thing (have to include metro area).

So I looked it up. Moscow is more north than Edmonton. St. Petersburg is more north than Edmonton. Helsinki is more north than Edmonton. Stockholm is more north than Edmonton. Edmonton barely makes the top 5, unless I'm missing another Russian city or Swedish city.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that you have to use the metro area. Honestly, I don't really know how to sell it to you, but Edmontons metro area is like all super-connected, so most people refer to metropolis Edmonton when they're talking about the city. Edmonton is at 1.1 million when you take the metro population into account. You have to also understand that Canada is MUCH less dense of a country population-wise, so the second you leave the Edmonton metro area, there really isn't very many towns or cities that have >50 000 people for quite a distance.

Just looked it up. Edmonton is the northern-most city with >1000000 in North America. My apologies. If you look at my earlier post, I had a shred of doubt, as I heard about this factoid from another person.

Either way, it's f'n cold in the winter.. a.k.a. October - April.

Yessir. We hit -59 degrees Celsius two years ago without windchill. Coldest place In the world for one day

Alright, what I wore today:

Superdry (real) Leather Bomber jacket (I don't ever wear super dry usually, but this jacket was solid and I got it heavily discounted)
A.P.C Cashmere sweater
A.P.C short sleeve Button Down
Diesel Black Gold Tapered Jeans
Paul Smith belt

It's kinda hard not to look like a *** in mirror pics, but I would definitely not consider myself douchey by the style standards that my peers and I hold. Maybe its just a generational thing.

Bracing myself for some more flak, as per uzhe. Keep it comin'

1. It better have been 30 degrees that day

2. Your sweater looks too small or possiblity you are riding your pants too low.

3. Your pants are way too beat up, that would have been cool 10 years ago

4. You are trying too hard, I like dressing nice but dont underestimate a good pair of jeans, a soft tshirt with no logo's and a good pair of leather boots.
