Because instead of running away from it she embraced it and is using it as a way to start a conversation. I don't mean she started it or anything.

She's a senior majoring in Communications at Texas State University in San Marcos, where she lives with her best friend. Her first book, "Lizzie Beautiful," came out in 2010 and her second, "Be Beautiful, Be You," was published earlier this month."

Before this post I literally thought she was selling lemonade in a park or something. I was too scared to click the link.

I'm just saying. Those handicap kids could just stay home and this lady could just stay home so we all don't have to look at them.

I just don't understand how you justify making fun of people with appearance deformations. So it's ok just because she is sharing her horrific struggle she faces? Her intention I'm sure is to help others by showing them they don't have it so bad.

If that's your round about way of accusing me of making fun of her then my answer is I don't see where I did.
 
The funniest thing in this thread is that she is certifiably better than any of you. And us.
 
By God, our school better not hire her as a motivational speaker. Our kids are brutal and she'll come out of there in a bodybag.
