The only positive is that they found the problem after a physical as opposed to having him collapse on the court.

Dilated cardiomyopathy? He is done as basketball player. He needs to invest money he made as he won't be able to make living as a pro anymore. And heart transplant may be needed in the future. Feel terrible for him, so young, just started finding his game and booom, career is over, and life may cut short as well.
