Official Utah Utes Football 2012 Thread

Ok it was so bad the bar the didn't want to show it. The utes got their buttholes ripped into a giant a crater that would fit a million woolly mammoths. The O-line didn't do jack squat, and I was really confused about running the ball over and over when we were 31 points down. Our defense stank, but I was really interested how ASU mixed it up. I watched their blowout game with Illinois and the Utes looks just as sexy as Illinois. At least byu gave a ****, Utes got no excuse. Practice a bit, watch some film, and prepare for USC, comon utes!

Well, I watched tonight's game with three ASU alumni... they were merciful...

Here is my in depth analysis of what happened in tonight's game...

I just woke up. I started drowning my sorrows after the first quarter and don't remember much, thankfully. That hurt.

Utes,

I was deeply saddened by the news about the death of your offense and defense.
This must be a very difficult time for you.
Please remember that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolences on your loss.

game day!

Pac-12 conference season opener!!

Now it counts!!!

go utes!!!!!!

Quoted for, uh, inadvertent humor.

I don't think we know a whole lot about The Utes yet. We should after this game though.

Now you know what all of us have known for some time.

What's really shocking is that Ute fans actually think this is complimentary. SOOOO COOOL!!! I hope your daughters go to the U.

I wasn't saddened at all. In fact, it made my day. Hell, it made my week.

Biggest disappointment but not necessarily a big surprise is the Oline, 2nd was John White hopefully it is because he's not healthy because that was horrible several times it looked like he ran to the defender to get tackled as quickly as he could.
Tied for the 3rd most was the D and the play calling (OC) however they looked worse IMO because of the first two things. I was of course wanting a win but was prepared for a loss but not like that, guess this is the growing pains I was somewhat thinking of for Brian Johnson as the new OC.

I think the problems are all so bad it's not even worthwhile to rank them.

What has been surprising/disappointing to me is the passing game. In particular, the receivers have been non existent.

Has Devonte Christopher caught a pass this season? He certainly hasn't been a factor in any game. Dres Anderson has been more of a factor than Christopher, but he's mostly been a non factor too.

Utah has all these athletic, NFL caliber receivers. And yet we haven't seen anything from any of them yet.

Is that on Brian Johnson? The QB play has been bad, but it was even worse last year and the receivers were still part of the offense.
