After the way we looked against AZ State and the strength in our conference this year, who says we're guaranteed to go 4-5 and be bowl eligible? I realize we play the Cougs and the Buffs... but that's only two wins. We'd have to pick up 2 more. And frankly, at the moment I'm not sure where those are going to come from.
 
By the way, Utah vs. UCLA is the afternoon game on a Fox Double Header... Yes, Fox as in the national broadcast network. How's that for exposure? Here's hoping we play well! :)

Not enough of an alcoholic? Failed the "throwing beer" requirement? You can actually count to twenty without taking your shoes off? You already know how to pump gas?

Ya, that pretty much sums it up. I was going to say something about "you actually know who your father is", "you live right, on AND off the field", and "you weren't born with that extra 1/3 chromosome" -- but you said it better.
 
USC favored by a couple of TDs? Seems high to me given Utah's extra prep and it is at RES.

Utah doesn't really have "extra" time. USC is also coming off a bye week. They are also coming off a disappointing loss so they will be just as rested, ready, and motivated as the Utes.
 
I can't see Utah's offense keeping up with USC and I don't expect SC to put up that many points. The Utes really need to get the WR's the ball. Christopher has 9 catches in 4 games, with a long of 16 yards, Anderson 8 catches, Dunn 7, and Scott 6. That's not going to get it done.

It's also time to ditch the short pass on first down, run up the middle on second down, and have long yardage on third down play calling. Johnson gets a pass so far because he has not had the weapons together and healthy yet, but the play calling needs to open up. Might as well throw caution to the wind and start it tomorrow.
 
We're gonna get killed. Why lie? I appreciate the optimism, but I think we're going to lose at the same interval or greater than we did to ASU.

I didn't realize USC was coming off a bye week. Sigh. It could be ugly, but hopefully the Utes put up a fight at least.
