With Karl getting inducted into the Hall of Fame this month. I thought we should all talk/reminisce about the greatest PF to play the game.

No doubt the best PF to ever play the game. He wasn't the most athletic player in the world but he worked hard and it really paid off for him.
 
Even though it was while he was a Laker, one little known fact - only 40 year old to record a triple double (televised against the Spurs)

They probably would've won that year had he not gotten injured. Ironic.

Best power forward ever, completely redefined the position (Duncan doesn't count - he's a center).
If he played today, he would be described as a "freak" because in addition to his power he was one of the fastest bigmen ever. To compare him to today's standards, he ran the floor like LeBron James and finished at the rim like Amare Stoudemire (only with more power).

His ability to improve his game every year is what set him apart. I'm a Boozer fan, but he never improved his game after 2006-07. He never added any low-post moves, never improved his FT shooting (which was already solid if not great).
Malone extended his range out to 18 feet, added a little running hook shot, added a fadeaway, improved his footwork to master the inside-reverse pivot and faceup game, and improved his position-defense enough to make first-team all-nba defense twice after 34. In fairness to Boozer though, alot of guys never improve from a young age. I loved how Shawn Kemp, Vin Baker, Brian Grant, were all supposed to supplant him as the best PF, but in the end Malone still ended up outplaying them when he was 39.

Karl has 6 more years then Tim right now, which drag his avgs down or the discrepancies above might be greater.
