Duckbutt played like a champ today. Good on him.
 
VERY glad to have him! He was efficient yesterday, and he played out of the way, kinda quiet. When he was asked to create his own shot he was able to also. His hops get the crowd into the game too, which gets the team into the game, etc.
 
Anybody else feel Marvin Williams could take a star position on this team if he gets out of being so quie?. I think half of his problem in ATL was Joe Johnson and Josh Smith taking the limelight away.

You might be right but he may be even more valuable if he can keep up this sort of super efficient guy that quietly give you nice numbers. Kinda reminded me of Shawn Marion with his ability to stay under the radar, then step up when asked. We might have too many chiefs and not enough Indians, and quality role players are worth their weight in gold. But hey if he wants to have a break-out year I won't complain.

No, not at all. I think he could potentially be our 3rd best player, but I think that is his ceiling.

We need to rearrange our "chiefs".
 
And if you honestly think Marvin has potential to be our best player, do you really think the only thing holding him back was that he was to big of a ***** to take the reigns from Josh Smith and Joe Johnson?

No, he just didn't fit a Hawks system.
He has the tools, the intangibles.
