NBA Won't Expand To Europe Any Time Soon

I know but I always wanted to have a regular season challenge for NBA and FIBA, smth more than just an exhibition you know. Maybe, this new ABA idea will give it a hand, maybe, it's just another idea that's unlikely to happen.

I think it would be cool. I'm just not surprised that the NBA decided it isn't feasible.
 
If we did expand, I wonder how many foreigners would return to their native country to play? Wold Dirk stay here? Batum? Kanter? Or would or could they make just as much overseas and play there?
 
On second thought, this would just water the league down even more. Maybe we could do it with six teams in Eurasia...Spain, France, Italy, Germany, China and one more perhaps??? Then Argentina and Brazil...and we could cut at least two teams from the league. But the addition of six teams would really water down the talent I think.
 
Good. The league should drop 4 teams and push the competition closer to NFL levels, especially with the star-centric nature of the NBA.

That's definitely one issue with European expansion. You'd have to either move teams or dissolve some.
