What's new

@CJ Miles

So, Pouyan is CJ? Well, CJ, always believed in you, but damn you were so inconsistent. One game you played like an All-Star, and then the next like a D-Leaguer. What was up with that?

Her twitter is pretty funny:

I think we just found Dalamon's perfect match. 93? That means she is probably 18 or 19. She likes the Jazz, she's mean to C.J. Miles, she's putting her schoolmates on blast for dressing/being ugly, she is making fun of soccer floppers, and she was talking about playing Mario party all weekend. Though, she opted for a multi-color picture so that means she's possibly ugly.

Somebody tweet her a link to his shirtless raps and see if she's interested.

Nice find, Cy. Looks like her and Dalamon already hooked up:

Hat matches... the igloo.

In all seriousness, what would your (everyone) reaction be if Miles wins Most Improved Player next year with another team? Keep in mind this just hypothetical.

I would be a little sour towards Clifford James for pissing on the Jazz and me for showing some support for him, but otherwise wouldn't care as I KNOW he wouldn't have a breakout year on this team.

He has always had the tools to be a good starter, but his shot selection has killed him. He has impressive raw passing, and slashing skills.
If he would learn to attack the rim when his shot isn't falling, and play crazy defense he'd be starting for us or someone else.

He's been in the NBA for how long now? 8 years? For CJ to be even a serviceable starter he would need revolutionary developmental strides. Has that ever happened to someone who's been playing for as long as he has? Typically, veterans of his tenure can polish a few areas here and there, learn to be more adaptive to competition, and maybe add a minor move or two to their arsenal.

CJ will never be a good player. He may rise to the level of "a nice role player", but the NBA is packed with unfulfilled potential.

Many rep-worthy posts in this thread. Will try to dish them out whenever possible.

In the mean-time, all of you can lick ma nuts (I'll make sure to not trim beforehand)

I agree that he'll never be a good player, but I disagree that he needs major development. That's what's so fustrating. He's not that far off. He can hit shots, pass, attack the rim, hit FTs, and run a good fast break. He just tries to do too much, and doesn't play good enough defense. I think the defensive side is where he'd need the most development, but still I think it's more of an effort/focus problem than talent. He is one who would benefit from less is more type of thinking. At this point he's either not smart enough, or simply thinks too highly of himself. I, like you and others have given up hope though.

There is no chance for him to make it with us, and little chance he makes it elsewhere.

Because that's how we judge a woman's value around here.

I knew you were a lot of things, but the feminist act is kind of throwing me for a loop. Everybody can't look like Asian supermodel and part-time Jazzfanz poster - Jazz_Fanatic - I understand. But seeing how Nastasha is extraneous to the site, I thought I broke her down pretty well based on limited information. You want to run into her on the Internet because her hate game is top notch and she is kind of funny, but you never hope to see her on the street for numerous reasons.
