It's not showing improvement. If anything, it's almost worse proving that he actually has the ability to play defense because it makes it more inexcusable when he doesn't play defense for 99.9% of the game.
He does just enough to keep his job.

Corbin as we always see ,showed he does not trust the youngsters. No min for Burks, 12 min for Kanter and 18 min for Favors. Noone can accuse any of them to sign any teams after their contracts done.

True. He has played so few minutes that you forgot how to spell his name. It is Alec, not Alex. He needs more playing time just so that we can all start spelling his name the right way!
