Good game, Jazz.

Burks needs playing time. He's got All Star potential more than anyone on our team (yes, including Favors).

Corbins biggest mistake is not playing burks more.... i enjoy the game so much more when he is in. He has so much speed, energy, athleticism.

Tonight he had a great block, played good D, rebounded good, took 2 shots (the one he missed was a real nice floater that was in and out), and had an and 1 try. (too bad he missed the freebie.)

I love watching him play..... and i miss watching him play when he is on the bench.

Once again the young guys dont get enough minutes, and ya they didn't play well overall but niether did the vets.

Ok, lets compare some stats:

Millsap 12 pts (5-7 fg) 7 reb 5 ast 1 stl 1 blk 2 to (28 min)
Jefferson 14 pts (6-16 fg) 11 reb 1 ast 3 blk 0 to (34 min)

Favors 11 pts (4-8 fg) 8 reb 1 ast 1 stl 1 blk 2 to (17 min)
Kanter 6 pts (2-5 fg) 5 reb 0 ast 1 stl 0 blk 2 to (14 min)

Good thing that we have Al for his offense. If we didn't we might get blown out by a bad team.

Lucky for us memphis is playing the late game tonight on the road against a fast paced denver team.... lets hope that it goes into overtime and memphis shows up tired tomorrow night.

Burks isn't going to be helping this team all that much right now, but again on nights like tonight where we can't get to the FT line we have our guy who is best at getting to the FT line glued to the bench.

I know that there are some on here that don't like boxscore posts. He is a non-boxscore observation for everyone:

Favors played with more energy and aggressiveness than any other big tonight. I loved the way that he was around the rim trying to get some impressive put-back dunks. He was making a difference. Too bad he played under 20 minutes.

THE WORSE BIG ON OFFENSE AND DEFENSE deserves the MOST minutes. thats why jefferson got twice as many minutes as favors.

wish jefferson would miss a few games. so corbin can see the light

Yeah good thing that Al scored 14 points on 16 shots, good offense right there.

Repped

Another night we get killed by the poor shooting of Jefferson, Hayward and Foye.
I'm sick of Al AND Gordon. I want both players gone. Hayward is a slightly better version of CJ. He'll have 1 great game and then suck for the next 3-4. If he has any value, I'd try to package him and a 1st for a legit starting SG. AS for Al, just give us a mid-1st and a cold drink.

jazz are completely stunting the growth of talented young players. sometimes a team just has to accept it is time to rebuild and develop. jazz refuse to do that. do they really need the money from 4 extra games a year that badly?

i get so depressed when i see games like tonight where not a single one of our lottery picks plays more than twenty mins. do we just suck at drafting? its hard to tell because we will never know what we have in these players (well i guess we have some idea what hayward can be). teams have to rebuild and take their lumps while the young players learn how to win. all these young guys are so freaking behind the curve.
