What's new

NFL Thread 12-13

You just figured this out now?

Haha no.

FYI I'm now rooting against the Niners and think their decision to go with Kap will cost them a chance at a Super Bowl.

Kap WILL fuzz up during a big game in the playoffs.

Best hope for the Niners now is Kap getting hurt and Alex returning triumphantly to lead them to the Super Bowl and he wins Super Bowl MVP then becomes the highest paid QB in football next year and wins 3 Super Bowl titles in 5 years shattering every QB record known to man.

What sounds better, that^ or Kap's "upside"??

That's not going to happen. With 4 TD passes tonight Kaepernick already did something Smith never did. Smith had plenty of games with 3 TD passes, but never reached 4 in a game.

I 100% agree with this statement.

I wouldn't bet against the judgment of the best coach in the NFL by a mile. Whether its now or later, I believe Harbaugh has improved the odds of a 49er championship. Maybe it costs them this year, or maybe the "upside" of Kaep in addition to his legs make him better even this season.

Did Kaepernick have some issues with taking the snap under center? Yes, but did you not notice the rain falling all game long?

Brady was playing in that same rain all night long and didn't fumble a single snap. Funny how you didn't mention that.

I'd like to thank the 49ers for giving Denver an assist when they beat the Pats.

Much better chances getting to the Superbowl when you have a first round bye and at most 1 road game.

Not when Peyton Manning is your QB. When he was with the Colts I'd typically hope the Colts wouldn't get the bye.

I'd still take a 1st round by and 1 road game at most over 3 playoff games and at least 2 road games. Denver D is better than Indys was.

Pigeon DGIAF.
