Utah Jazz VS the Miami luke warms on ROOT Sports 1280 AM/ 97.5 FM at 7:00

Great win for the Jazz.
I'm dissapointed in Lebron. Way too much passing when he can easily take over. Was Marvin that good on him though?

Also I hate that Kanter has been buried on the bench and that Favors is only getting 18 a night.

Well, I did hear a few people say Utah will win over Miami when hell freezes over.
And from what I've read, Salt Lake has frozen over...and the Jazz beat the Heat.

Conclusion: Salt Lake IS Hell.

Hell doesn't begin to describe it. You shovel snow from the driveway, turn around, and all the snow is back.......

Yea, the sad part is the vets are getting MORE minutes this year than last year. Sad and slightly depressing.

Favors and Kanter are both hobbled right now. Chill. Get mad about Burks.

Burks sucks. He almost gave this game away. Trade him now! Last thing we need is for him to turn into a vet and get more playing time. We will be a bottom feeding team if that happens.

Yeah I'm going to agree with orangello.
If Burks is going to be a PG, he needs to keep his cool and maybe watch more old school Tinsley and Chris Paul tapes.
He just played out of control too much. Encouraging PnR plays though.

Awesome!!! the Jazz win, they beat the World Champs. The win makes them 2 games over .500, and within 1/2 game of the 8th seed. Jazz Bench outscored Miami's 33-5, Hayward scored big, Al drew their toughest defender.

I couldn't watch the game, so I'm watching the replay now searching for something to complain about.

Just watched the game on Leauge pass, cause I fell asleep early.

Great win, we really exposed the heat's weakness, being so small inside. Fortunaly for the heat, outside of a team like Memphis that's not gonna be much of an issue for them going forward. Al was efficent, he was passing well and I thought he played a great game.\

I always say the heat coast through games defensively, and turn it on in the 4th quarter. That's exactly what they did. Once they locked in defensively it was nearly impossible for us to score. Gordon was huge down the stretch and it really helped us simmer the heats rally.

Fair enough, and i apologize for being concerned about the teams future.... Though you are correct that there may not be a tomorrow, the chances are good that there will be and i think that the future could be very bright for this team if things are done properly. So its just frustrating to see an amazing future possibly being sacrificed for a ho hum present.

Jeditiger is exactly the type of fan who will be happy just making the playoffs. Good for him, but you, I, and others want more.
It's ok to be a casual fan, and enjoy just watching the team. For others, we can't stand to watch something we love being run so poorly at times.

We demand a coach who gives us the best chance to win. Not bitching about someone like Watson playing over Burks is criminal. It's hurting the team, and the future.
I simply don't ever want to see Watson play over Burks again. Also playing Marvin Williams 32 minutes is an outright disservice to this team right now.

Bitching and moaning on here is strangely enough getting through to Corbin. He's been asked in interviews, and they've mentioned us bitching about Burks, and other things to his face.
There is no let up now, because we are stuck with Ty this year.

Watched the game again just now. What a nice breakfast treat.

A few thoughts.

- Hayward's body language in the 1st half was incredible. He was attacking, and playing like a confident all star. He disappeared like many of the Jazz in the 2nd half, but did hit the game winner.
Overall I was very impressed with his game as a whole. He's getting there, and it's fun to watch his progression.
- Tinsley was pretty awful. Lots of careless mistakes, his flat footed shot was off, and he just didn't do many positives from what I saw. People blast Burks for a mistake or two, when Tinsley had a full game
of them. The Tinsley Watson experiment needs to end.
- Marvin Williams's game wasn't better the second time around. In fact it was worse. Besides careless plays like right before the half where he grabs a board, starts the break, we have numbers, and he throws it right away. Carroll was light years ahead of him on BOTH sides. Yes, Carroll outplayed him on defense too.

Tinsley was horrid the end of the first half - I think he turned the ball over 3 times in a row.

Overall, I'm thrilled with Tinsely starting right now - while his numbers aren't great, you can tell the rest of the team trusts him and no one takes plays off on offense anymore because everyone thinks they'll get an opportunity if they can get open. I believe the starting unit's FG% is considerably better with him on the floor as well.

"real fans" ladies and gentlemen. ha.

Just rewatched Burks time twice. He has nothing to do with the Heat run.
Besides his errant pass to Foye, he did nothing wrong.

He scored on Lebron, after flying by his defender. Then drew a foul on Lebron.

The Heat turned up the defense, and we wilted. Sap, and Hay both missed two shots, Favors the dunk, Marvin a shot.
Looking back on that run we have to give credit to the Heat, and also blame Corbin for not putting in Foye when we needed some offense.

Hayward scored 10 points in the 4th. He saved the team. He did not disappear.
