Following potential 2013 draftees

if we move millsap or don't re-sign him jame micheal mcadoo in the late teens early 20s is intriguing. the dude is old school and I would think he would thrive in the jazz system.

I am still pulling for dario saric though. he will be a better passing illyosava.

jazz trade millsap for illyosava.

draft Burke and oladipo

re-sign mo 2 years
let Jefferson walk
sign tiago splitter
sign mareese speights
re-sign carroll

Williams, Burke, burks
Hayward, oladipo, burks
illyosava, Williams, Carroll
favors, speights, Evans
splitter, kanter, aldrich

jazz now have Hayward starting next to a guy that likes to shoot 3s in illyosava. favors pairs with splitter well and he is an UFA. speights would be cheap for a back up. this would also push burks way down the bench and that is a negative. oladipos defense and finishing get him playing time. Burke learns from mo who is a good teacher (I hope). when Williams goes down with an injury burks gets more time at pg.

Aldrich is a throw in to get a 3rd center vet min.

This is the only highlight I could find of Smart vs KU. I'm sure there will be more up sometime, though.

Orlando will be in the top 5, and there's no PG that has a chance of going that high, imo.

I wasn't looking at draft position just needs, but there are not a lot of teams before the jazz that need pgs that will be taking them. I wouldn't be surprised is no pg goes in the lottery.

Yeah, when looking at team needs and where the PG's are on the big boards, it's easy to see one of them falling to us, imo.
