All else being equal, who would you rather have running the Jazz: Bledsoe or Burke

Who would you rather have as the Jazz PG of the future?

Walker is actually having a pretty good year. He could be a pretty good PG on a team that had players who actually complimented him.

Besides the point though. Leadership does matter.

My point is - Kemba will never be elite. You can't teach athleticism. Period.

Easy answer. We know Bledsoe is an NBA player with potential to be great.

All we know about Burke is he is a great college player.

Don't overrate the unknown.

And shooting, you know, that thing that allows you to score points when you aren't 5 feet away from the rim.

He can shoot the ball. Its a misnomer that he can't. He isn't Ray Allen but he isn't Earl Watson either. His shot can be improved too. He has all the natural ability in the world. I have confidence he would be just fine.

Can he dunk?

But honestly the stupidest question ever. Why does it matter if your PG dunks?

Y'all are getting too hung up on height and athletic ability. I just want my PG to be quick, decisive with the ball, ability to shoot, and have a high level of awareness and court vision.

All the things that Bledsoe possess.

Let's take leadership into account too.

What has Bledsoe ever led? He was 2nd fiddle at UK, 2nd fiddle for the Clippers. He isn't a natural born leader like Burke.

He was 4th fiddle at best (and not a PG) at UK, and is... what, 3rd fiddle at best (and has played primarily as a 2) on the Clippers?

LOL... props for finding that clip Cy.

It's a rare one.

Not every PG wants to dunk every possession. I remember when Paul and Dwill 1st got into the league they were dunking and stuff, then they realized that dunking was usually just a waste of energy and increased risk of injury.

Good point, he had Billups in front of him at the fiddle line and was probably at the end of the line of the major players during his UK years.

I think a lot of people are just getting hung up on "Wow this guy is super athletic" and the fact that our current PG rotation is the pits.
