I speak largely out of naivete here, but I believe Burke has more of a desire to do that and has done more of that when we compare apples to apples (college). If Burke translates to the NBA, then I don't believe it's even a question.

That said, Bledsoe is in the NBA and Burke isn't. That can't really be understated. And you could possibly have both, assuming KOC's sentimentality doesn't cloud his judgment in regards to Mo.

Bledsoe has shown the ability to breakdown the D and hit an open man. That's not a question - that's a fact. Go watch the Celtics game and be enlightened.

Thanks for finally replying. I'm not predicting who will ultimately be a better pro, but Burke is going to get stuffed a ton more than EB, book it. Bledsoe is a supreme athlete and Burke is, if anything, below average.
For reasons stated before, it's no easy pick, but some things are fairly obvious.

This time last year Lillard was mocked at around 25th overall in most mocks. Don't be a slave to the mocks. Watch the dude ball, he is legit. You could have said the exact same thing last year in a Lillard vs. Bledsoe debate.
 
I just think athleticism is hardly a factor you consider for a position that is and always has been about decision-making and poise.

I have watched them as much as they've been on nat. tv this year and I do like what I see. If we don't make a deal for a PG like Bledsoe I pray that by our first pick he is there and we take him. That said IMO he's much more of a wildcard. Lillard panned out which is great and if Burke can do the same it'd be amazing! There is a reason Lillard ended up going 6th though and now we are seeing it. If Burke makes a ridiculous leap to the top of the draft then why even discuss the possibility of us getting him?

I get that, I do. But, c'mon, don't ya think decisions get heightened when you blow by your guy or rise above ??

Mo Williams has gotten 10 assist plenty of games, but people still think he is an average passer.

Can Bledsoe pass? Yes. Does he make the right pass on a consistent basis? I'm not sure.

I don't disagree. All I know is most of the all-time greats get it done with their minds more than their dunks and that even the biggest Bledsoe homers talk about his dunxxx and stuff first.

Not me, like I said earlier I'll take the guy who's shown he can play in this league over a guy who maybe can possibly make it in this league.

Moultrie will be a ****ing beast once Collins gives him minutes. The past 6 games he is averaging 6 and 5 in 18 minutes on high FG%.

Jesus Christ I don't know why it took Collins so long to give him minutes. It's like a Corbin situation x1000 because the Sixers actually have ZERO legit big men outside of Spencer Hawes. WHAT THE **** COLLINS MOULTRIE/HOLIDAY COULD BE MONSTEROUS!!!

That's the biggest question I have on Burke - how does his game translate against NBA length & athleticism. As far as finishing at the rim, alot of diminutive NBA PG's have scored in the paint w/a mid-range game/floater and I've seen glimpses of that from Burke...maybe Burke comes off a pick&roll, gets into the lane and either shoots a 10-foot floater or looks to dish instead of go strong to the rim?
I don't like the "all things are equal" because they aren't. One is a sophmore in college and the other is a 3-year NBA pro. One will be paid on a 4-year rookie-scale contract while the other would potentially be due a big-money contract in 1 year (and is eligible to sign an extension one this summer along w/Hayward & Favors). One could likely be had for a mid-1st-round pick while the other could cost Paul Millsap long-term (which could increase the chances of Utah re-signing Jefferson *shudders*) and a pick as well.
Also, Bledsoe seems like one of those guys 'you just let go play,' rather than run alot of methodical halfcourt sets. Similar to how OKC gives Westbrook the green-light to attack when he sees fit...does Ty have it in them to give a young PG like Bledsoe the keys to the engine?
It's really a tough call because Bledsoe's the type of guy who could blow-up and make you look like an idiot for not getting him, but also the type of guy if you list all the pro's and con's you wonder if you'll actually be a better team w/him in 3 years.
