Black Jesus Burke will make this draft one of the best in the past 10 years, him and Otto "Black Lincoln" Porter.
I think it's below average, top, middle, and back.
I want Andrew Harrison. Would (Millsap + Burks + UT 2013 pick + GSW 2013 pick) be enough to land us a top 5 in 2014, you think?
I would think that if you sent that to most current teams they would be better than a bottom 5team.
Elite size, pretty good athleticism, crafty as hell...

True. Unless it's the Bobcats. LOL...
Actually the Bobcats might bite. They have x2 picks this year already, so that'll make it x4. They desperately need cheap bodies on their team. Millsap gives them someone the players can look up to as an example of a fighter, an ideal role model.
the bobcats have some nice pieces as well imo. but i doubt we'd get anything but trash in a trade.
I was talking about getting their '14 pick for the x2 '13 picks that we have plus Burks and Millsap.
It's a risky, risky business trading so many assets for a future 1st round pick while 1) banking that a team will remain in the cellar and 2) banking that the "loaded draft" actually materializes. If that pick turned into the #7 or #8 in 2014, and a few of those "can't miss" players go bust, we're kicking ourselves a year from now.
Just stay put and draft CJ. I think he's an All-Star in three seasons.
But there's talk about MJ coming back at age 50. If he does, he becomes the best player and someone else is hired for the basketball decisions. That could improve their team substantially. There's risks and then there's trading with the Bobcats. They're not even remotely the same.
"Mr Emmert, your resignation is not just appropriate, but required."
It seems like a lot of teams are going to want draft picks and cap flexibility in the summer of '14 due to the free-agent class as well as the draft class. If the Jazz can keep cap flexibility next year, they might be able to make a good move or two with teams looking to shed players. In other words, if there isn't a good deal for Sap or Al available now, there's still value in simply letting them expire this summer in order to set us up for a deal next year.
