Millsap for Bledsoe?

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this rumor was generated entirely by the Clip FO, then leaked, all in order to gain some kind of leverage with Boston. There might be zero substance to it.

True.. but you have to admit the market for PG is shrinking by the minute... With the draft coming up we might not need a PG next year if we pick Burke. Also there's going to be quite a few decent PGs in the '14 draft as well, just when Bledsoe's contract comes up.

If I were the Clippers I'd strike while the iron's hot. Millsap + '13 pick is a great deal. Millsap is easily the best backup big for a Championship team.

why do people keep saying this when it's not boston they need to convince, it's garnett.

I wouldn't be surpized if a deal was already in place, and the Clips won't pull the trigger till they know Garnett isn't waving his no trade clause, which means if a deal gets done we won't know till the deadline.

maybe this is why Bledsoe text no comment to PKM because a deal is done and it's just a matter of where he's going whether it's Utah or Boston.

LOL.. I know it's futile but it feels good to dream and pretend we have Bledsoe on our team. At least until the trade deadline anways.

Haven't seen Bledsoe play too much but always thought of him as taller Nate Robinson.
Bad comparison?

Don't we play the clippers coming up this week? Trade Millsap then he smokes the Jazz for 50. Sounds about right.

Think shorter Westbrook if he weren't obsessed with that stupid floater. Not that good, but his game reminds me of him as does his ability to stuff the stat sheet.

Clippers could afford another PG coming back. And I think Odom makes the most sense for them although I think I like Green/Hill more.

I'm fine with really whatever comes back with Bledsoe. If they want to get rid of Butler, cool. Odom, cool. Not picky and if we blew the trade over something like that I would be pissed.

Westbrook's a brickhead. Bledsoe's not that stupid, is he?

I guess I mean he's very athletic, defensively inclined. From what I've seen (which admittedly is less than I'd like to) he isn't a headcase. His ability to drive is very good. Not a great shooter. Great in transition.

Edit: And not that this is really that important, but my god it would be FUN to watch a team with Bledsoe playing 20-30 minutes a game. Bledsoe, like Favors, is inexperienced but has a knack for big plays.

I dream of seeing Bledsoe/Hayward/Carroll/Favors/Kanter. That lineup would be insane in transition.

With Burks coming off the bench as a 6th man for instant scoring it could be really awesome.

Bledsoe/Mo/Burks/Foye
Hayward/Burks/Foye
Carroll/Marvin/Hayward
Favors/Marvin/Extra big
Kanter/Extra big/Favors

Would love to see that next year.

I seriously want to create an account on that board and tell some of these people to go **** themselves. Idiots in that board.

Overall, not too much interest on their side on a deal. They only have 2 pages on their forum and 2 replies on RealGM. We have 20 pages on this.

As a clipper fan, I'd like to apologize for a few of those idiots who don't realize how good Millsap is and what exactly Bledsoe's value is. We're not all that bad haha.

Lol. Williams plays both primary backup spots for sf and Pf. That's a cool trick. Lol

I feel like these rumors may have something to them, so I decided to sign up. And first off, I'd like to apologize for some of those ridiculous comments made from some clipper fans on that forum. I promise not all of us are that stupid.

Regarding Bledsoe, he's an athletic freak. He's got a huge wingspan despite being around 6'0. Elite defender (blocks shots, gets a ton of steals...), no mid-range jumpshot but an okay 3-point shooter, that part of his game will improve. He does turn the ball over a lot, but his role right now is to be an energy guard off the bench, his decision making will get better as well. I really wish we could keep him but it looks like Utah might be the best spot for him.

I'd love to get Millsap on the clippers but my main concerns are:
- Would he take a paycut or sign an extension?
- Is he okay with coming off the bench?
- Can he start at Small Forward and be effective?

My feeling is that he'd leave in the offseason for more cash and a starting gig.

But the suspense is killing me!! I can't wait till thursday.
