This is a pointless argument. Jack isn't having a way better year than last year. The only areas with big differences are 3p% and the fact he's stayed healthy so far this year.
Relative anomaly. I'm sorry you aren't intelligent enough to understand that I didn't call him Michael Jordan.
He is playing 30 mpg and closing out games. He plays many minutes against starters.
Also Jack has never had this kind of impact on a team. To sign him and think he would similarly impact our team would be foolish, he just isn't that good.

He has had good stats as a starter and in a reserve role in two seperate offenses.

Don't think of it as much of a problem. Dwayne Wade is a career 29% 3 point shooter. Not comparing him to D Wade, but I am saying that just because he's bad at 3s doesn't mean he can't be good or even great.
AND Sacto has no offense so a lot of those were probably contested 3s.
I'm not saying to shell out $10 mil on him, but I think that the Jazz have really good player development unlike Sacto. He's got a lot of talent, it's worth a shot to get him at a reasonable price. I'm not sure about his work ethic, attitude, etc.
All in all, he'll probably end up with the first stupid GM that overpays him.
If we can get him for something like 8/per year, then I would be down. I think you pretty much have to trade Burks if you do this though.
He does routinely dominate the Jazz though, so maybe we are interested.
Sign/Trade Sap, Burks, and our pick to move up and draft Otto Porter.
Draft Burke with GS Warriors pick.
Let Jefferson walk.
Re-sign Mo.
Re-sign Foye.
Sign backup big.
Re-sign Carroll.

Why do we have to trade Burks? I thought Evans was a free agent.
They just seem redundant to me. If you sign Evans, I think you have to go all in with him as your primary scorer. I guess we could still have Burks on the bench as a 6th man, but I think it would make sense to capitalize on his trade value and get a piece that makes more sense with Evans.
Like I said, I don't support doing this, but if you get Evans, I think this would be the best option.
