Finish this sentence: If the Jazz FO re-signs Al, I will...

I won't be back. Why you ask? Because I won't leave.

Reality is that the Jazz are more than likely going to sign either Big Al or Sap. I'd prefer Sap but I think we all realize it will end up Big Al.
I agree it will be Al. But not for the reasons most people probably do. It will be Al because he wants to be here, and I don't think Sap does.

This is what bothers me. I have a lot of friends who work in the marketing department with the Jazz. This is the biggest reason they keep telling me for keeping Al:

"He is the only black guy in the NBA that wants to play in Utah." (their words not mine, sorry if they offend anyone).

I think that is an awful reason to keep him. Pathetic. Who cares if they want to be here or not? If they want to get paid, they will play here. It is that simple.

If that has ANYTHING to do with their decision making (which it appears it does, considering the fact that they felt Bledsoe wasn't a good "fit") then we are in trouble.

Get used to Al, and fighting for an 8th seed every year. But hey, we made the playoffs, right?

If the Jazz FO re-signs Al, I will never be surprised because we are the Jazz which is veterans' heaven and youngster's hell.

*AK max deal
*Extending Okur a year before they had to
*Trading for Marvin

Must I go on?

I can't blame KOC for getting Marvin. Corbin and Harris weren't getting along apparently and we had a hole at SF. He took a chance on Marvin, thinking maybe it was the environment in ATL that made him suck and he could be salvaged into a solid player. At least that's what I hoped for.

That is the feeling I get as well. I think Sap has mentally moved on to his next team.

Me either, it was worth a shot. Didn't work out but it was worth a shot.
