Following potential 2013 draftees

Good Marketing essentially is being able to replace the real reason to love something, with a feeling of familiarity, and furthermore fleecing the people; thru abusing their instincts(color, sound) to perceive love and familiarity as equal.

So Wiggins is making people replace the real reason they love him with a feeling of familiarity, thereby fleecing them by abusing their instincts by waiting to choose a school?

nope. not at all.

the marketing as it relates to wiggins is the next jordan stigma, or lebron, thats the familiarity. thats been placed on him in hs, hes gotten himself so much attention he cant possibly do anything but mess up, yet he doesnt.

when you take all the psychology out of it and just look at wiggins resume and tape skillsets, you will deduce hes the best 2/3/4 player youve ever seen in HS, ive come to that conclusion.

the marketing here is that anyone else has a chance at wiggins, florida st... really?

hes obviously going to kentucky imo, not because he wants to secure a championship and not devalue himself by fitting in around supreme talent, he seems genuienly liek the type of kid who wants to win above anything else, but also win all the individual accolades too (like adrian peterson) so why in the world would he pick anywhere but kentucky. hes an obvious one and done anyway, thats the best fit to go 1/1 for a championship, plus cals rotation is so indepth that Anthony Davis who had the 5th most shots on the team last year SWEPT the player awards in a way that only durant had done before him, without the defense. i see wiggins going to kentucky because hes trying to hunt down that type of season.

fsu because of ties to his parents? c'mon... that sounds naive to me

[video]https://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=8581928 heres some marketing at its worst. trying to get you to class wiggins with parker, he should be compared to all time greats

Edit: Honest player comparison. i have him as a 2/3/4 so its Mitch Richmond/Lebron/Anthony Davis

@around 3mins the highlights end and interviews start with jordan phil jackson tim hardaway, dope vid

hypothetical if the jazz drop into the lottery andcodyzeller is still on the board do the jazz take him? I hope not. chad ford has updated his big board and he says that's outs are saying saric has the best bb iq of anyone in this draft.

PKM - can you do something with this boy? Put all this goodness into good use? May be "Caliparied" him a little bit? Take him under your wings and mentor him "God Father Style"? (since he's Italian)

I'd hate to see all this talent go to waste.

Experts say an undefeated season will never happen again. I would bet they're wrong if we get Wiggins.
Andrew Harrison
Aaron Harrison
JAMES Young
Andrew Wiggins
Marcus Lee
Dakari Johnson
Not to mention Wiltjer returning as a junior.

I would think a kid like Wiggins would want to be part of the greatest cbb team of all time.

Cippers SF's : Butler and Barnes (Decent role players)

Warrior's SF's: Barnes and ??? (Rookie SF and SG's who they play at SF)

I like Hayward as a defender and all, but he has neither the length or strength (I think you have to have one or the other) to guard top tier SF's.

Good point. Hayward is also a bit more ball dominant and perimeter oriented than you might want in an ideal SF. Playing him at SF also doesn't play to his strength, which is his combination of size and ability to initiate plays out on the floor. Against SFs he'll have a harder time getting to the rim and passing over the top of his defender.

Porter moved up to 6th on Chad Ford's big board:

No one has had a bigger man crush on Otto Porter this season than me, and over the course of the past month he's dramatically increased the size of his fan club. Porter's usage rate and efficiency have both risen greatly in Big East play. That doesn't happen very often. His career 33-point, 8-rebound, 5-steal performance against Syracuse on Saturday was one of the best individual performances of the season and has quieted critics who claim Porter can't dominate a game from end to end. It was so good, in fact, that a number of NBA scouts have told me he's now passed Shabazz Muhammad on their team big boards.

But the question is, who has a bigger man crush on Porter, is it Ford or Cy?

i cannot figure what the jazz should do if zeller falls out of the top 10, he wont reach the GSW pick for sure it maybe a worthy gamble for the jazz, he has a polished perimeter game. i much prefer to trade up further and pay the premium for Isaiah Austin. in the event of zeller having an aaron rodgers type fall on draft day idk what the jazz do honestly, riddle me this. how do you like these rotations?

Kanter/Zeller
Zeller/ Favors
Favors/Kanter

id rather sign al and fit the need at 3/4 iso defender with poy.

Kentucky is up 42-19 at half against Miss St. and Alex Poythress looks like the best player on the court right now. Poythress has 13 points off of 6-10 shooting from the field and 4 rebounds. Michigan just got upset by Penn St. and Trey Burke got 18 points and 6 assists, Michigan just surprises me at times like tonight.

This is good news for us in terms of Burke dropping down the draft ranking.

I'm surprised they don't use Burke in pick and roll more (even the commentators commented on that).

I am still salivating over a poythress Burke draft.

Yep me too.

Although Poythress seems to have all the tools to succeed and seems to be someone who could really rise come draft day... He's 12 right now on Chad Ford's big board and if somehow UK can make a push in the tournament, he may be motivated enough to play well and then who knows where he can go?
