Al jefferson sucks, if al was hurt and paul was healthy the jazz would still be a good team. we can live without jefferlog. what does that say about him? he isnt freaking needed!!! if you give his 25 FGA to a real competitor like hayward or burkls they would double the production! we all know it!!

Now I turn the thread over to you. post your feelings about our "best player, the player we couldnt do anything with out. big al jefferchuck!"

al jefferson is a very good player. not his fault the coach puts him in this position. dont see any reason to hate big al.
hate tyco and/or koc? that makes perfect sense tho.
 
What about the guard play? They got into the paint at will. You people are so quick to blame Jefferson when there's so many other issues.
 
sure he gets almost 20 and 10 every game.. its an empty state. basket ball isnt just about point and rebounds. plus we all know someone else will get those state if jefferknob is gone. the stats we need that he dosent give us is.... transiton defense, movemnt on the offensive end, pnr defense, energy, winning basketball. these stats do not show up on the box score. good thing or al would be out of work.

all valid complaints. but isnt this something TyCo is responsible for? Big Al is Big Al, you cant change who he is, but you CAN manage his minutes, role, etc. ANd that's on TyCo and to an extent KOC. WHy would u hate on and wish injury on Al who's playing hard and doing what he's told to do, instead of placing blame on the guys really in charge? ur usually pretty reasonable bro, dont follow in dutch's footsteps, its a deep dark road.

gards should be scared of the paint!!! al dosent bring any fear to them... if you watch they didnt drive to the hoop and get a lay up when favs was playing low. they would get to the paint and dish out. Al is at fault. i am not a baliderant person, heck i cant even spell it. but i have given al the benifit of the doubt... the dude will never play winning basketball. he dosent know how. al is at fault. we have all seen it time and time again. the subs get uhs back into the game then corbin puts back in the closer (al Jefferson?) what the hell? sorry he isnt a closer.

we will agree on one thing corbin is at fault, just as much as al.

So would Randy Foye. When the starters get killed every game it's time to make a change. And by change, I don't mean Watson. Personally, I think Tinsley is a better player.

lol. i am no follower. but your telling me now that al cant change, that he cant learn. al might be a slow learner but even he should be able to learn to waytch his man. even al should learn he isnt all powerful. al has never been an alstar snub. he has never been deserving of all stardom. i am sorry HH, but i have given al many chances, i have given corbin many chances. they are boht at fault. corbin should bench himself behind the bench and take a seat next to al and raja bell. two players he has honestly handled very incorrectly.

How many points did horford have again?... jeffy was actually pretty good on offense tonight but it gets negated by his horrible play on the other end.

negated is an understatement. negated would mean they cancel eachother out. he gives alot more then he takes, not sure that makes sense. he is a liability. and the worst part is you cant hide a big man on D like you can a guard. the big man is suppose to save the guard, it cant be the other way around. not even favors can save als poor D-fenceive play.

I am in an agreement with you. All I'm implying is that there are more problems than just Al.

the best part imho was a pick and roll between hawks 2 big men.
smith and horford.
and al totaally messed up on that play. it was really really really funny to see

Well no one thinks that al is the only problem.... i hear lots of bitching about tinsley, watson, marvin and ty corbin as well.
But jeffy is making the most money and is the focus of the team so he does get more blame (and probably deserves more) than the others.

i feel i am being quite tasteful in my placeing of the blame. i am saying ty is at fault bu al is the primary person who needs to be slapped by then hand of shame. and i know this team does not function perfectly, anyone can see that. but al is a center peice of how corbin runs his offense.
