What's new

Korver open to returning to Utah.

...and have you accuse/report me as a "racisim?" No way, pal! I'm keeping my record clean!

bro i never accused you of "racisim" and i never reported you. youre one of my favorite posters bro i even nominated you for a academy award.
i dont get it for real bro. whats korver got to do with cotton holmes

Korver and Foye are essentially the same player.

I want the cheaper of the two.

More or less. Shooting is a wash. Foye is a much better ballhandler and on-ball defender; while Korver is bigger, likely stronger, and better at everything else (namely rebounding, team defense, IQ, and hustle).

I like Korver. Whether I would like him back is largely contextual. If the Jazz don't draft a wing, then Burks/Hayward/Korver/DMC sounds pretty good to me (provided the price is right [$8/3?]).

Who passed up shots and cost the team chances to win games...all because he wanted to protect his record. He's also a guy who wasn't that great of a defender to begin with, but is now a few years older. I'd rather have DeMarre.

This I hope someone told his *** to shove off!! I hate that punk!!!!

....I appreciate all of your kindnesses, and I apologize for ever dissing you in any way, shape or form! However, believe it or not, I was dinged with an infraction a year or two ago for using that southern expression, which isn't really just a southern expression, in connection with losing your mind with cotton involved!

If I'm the Jazz, I'm thinking about it.

If I'm Korver, I'm jumping at the chance to work with Hornacek again.

Of course he wants to play here. This is the perfect and safest place for a final big contract.

Don't discount that Korver played under Thibodeau in Chicago for a few seasons, so his defensive understanding and instincts should be improved. I would happily welcome him back in a Jazz uniform.

It takes a coach to give you defensive understanding? Maybe to jump from being a great defender to an elite one. But seriously, if you don't have the desire to expend EFFORT on the defensive end, no coach is going to give that to you. Defense is 75% EFFORT and 25% ABILITY. Korver never gave much effort outside of shooting 3's. And he's just not quick enough to ever be a good defender.

LOL. Totally forgot Marvin Williams was on the team.
