Following potential 2013 draftees

That missed FT will help keep Burke's draft stock low enough for us to draft him. The stars, they be aligning for us to draft Black Jesus Burke.

This. Many have spoken of Black Jesus visiting the Wasatch front to rally his followers and lead them to the promised land.

You don't watch a lot of basketball do you?

Dude Brandon Knight sucks, he was just replaced by Calderon at point and now spends his minutes as an undersized, ineffecient SG, for a last place team. Pretty much what everyone said his fate would be before draft. But because a couple mocks had him going 3rd he must have more potential right?

All-rookie 1st team, averaging 14 PPG, 4.2 APG, and 3.5 RPG. Yeah he is ineffecient. Last 5 games he is averaging 20 PPG, 3.4 APG, and 4.2 RPG, he is meant to be a SG. Burke is the better point guard, but Knight is the better prospect overall.

Burke was pretty bad today. He strung together a few 3's off of pick and rolls which boosted his scoring totals, but man, tough sledding for him today trying to create any other kind of offense. Oladipo had him locked down. He could not get to the bucket to save his life.

I thought his physical limitations were really glaring today. Oladipo, on the other hand, can be a Jazzman any day of the week as far as I'm concerned. I see a lot of MKG in his game. Piss-poor shooter, but tremendous finisher at the rim and is ready to guard your best perimeter player every night.

I was also very impressed by Zeller. He really battled, and that's an extremely physical/bruising frontcourt he just put up 25/10 against. McGary is going to be a hoss.

the draft machine on espn is broken. first roll the Jazz get the #3 pick and it has us taking james Michael McAdoo at #3. how stupid can it get.

That explains why it has the Jazz taking him at #14 too. I was surprised because he isn't even in Chad Ford's top 20 prospects.

Just saw Chard Ford peg Gary Harris to go #9 overall from Michigan St.

Going to sound like a moron here...but who the **** is Gary Harris?

ESPN says 6'4" SG...is he a lights-out shooter? Stellar athlete? Can he play PG? Is he in the passive Ben McLemore mold or is he more Shabazz-like?

He is barely at 40% from the field, can't get to the line, and is horribly mismatched on D against 90% of two guards in the league - that is the big one. His three point shot and hustle make him not a total bust, but if you were around in 2011 you would know he has turned into what nearly everyone here thought he would as an NBA player.

From what I have read there is very little chance that he enters the draft this year. I haven't seen Michigan St. play more than twice and he is a lights out shooter from three. Can't play point guard and is an undersized two-guard in the NBA. Would be a lottery pick if he came out this year and next year he would be a mid first-rounder since the draft next year is much stronger than this years.

Right now being realistic on where the Jazz will draft my priorities are WCS 1st and Burke 2nd.

I still like WCS and Saric in the first round over WCS and Burke.

I think it will take both WCS and Saric a year or two in order to really contribute and in the meantime the Jazz will get their own pick in the 2014 lotto. This team could be amazing.
