What's new

Following potential 2013 draftees

I still like WCS and Saric in the first round over WCS and Burke.

I think it will take both WCS and Saric a year or two in order to really contribute and in the meantime the Jazz will get their own pick in the 2014 lotto. This team could be amazing.

I like how you are sticking to your guns with Saric. Easily the best international player in th draft this year, but if the Jazz get WCS they are going to need to get a PG with the GSW pick.

Jazz4Ever's comparison of Tyson Chandler for WCS seems right on to me. Never going to be a big time scorer, but one day might be an all-star, and always a defensive force.

WCS to Tyson Chandler is a stretch in my eyes. Chandler had truly, truly elite length and athleticism. I don't think there's been a big man prospect with comparable height/length/athleticism to enter the draft since. That includes Greg Oden. Oden was stronger, of course...

Sincere question. Do you know much about WCS's athleticism? He's 7' and is a supreme athlete.

Jazz will either trade both picks and move up a few spots into the top ten at #8, #9, or #10 or trade the GSW pick for a pick in next years draft in my opinion.

I'm ok with the 2nd option but not the first.

Let me just come out and say it, with both WCS and Saric the Jazz get their 3rd and 4th bigs with one that can also play SF.

Also, this is a secret tanking strategy in order to hopefully get something in the upcoming draft. Get it now?

I wasn't fast enough to reply but I gather from your post that you haven't watched much UK ball this season, unless in it the Lady Cats that you have been watching.

Saric won't be there with the GSW pick! You have no idea how happy I would be in the Jazz got WCS.

actually I am with most everyone wcs is who I want. still big on Burke also. stick with the youth grab another lottery pick and be in the playoffs the next 10 years.

dream scenario 2 years

Burke, mo williams, Nate wolters (mo for a vet but I am sure he would be starting)
Hayward, burks
Jabari Parker, Carroll, Evans (figure early teens is where we get Parker)
favors, Kanter, Evans
splitter, wcs, Aldrich (would be a cheap 3rd big) (splinter signed for 3 years 25 mill)

I can buy season tickets to see that team play.

Why are you such an *** in all of your responses?

I watch UK all the time. WCS is a great prospect. Top-10, in my eyes. But he's not Tyson Chandler. Tyson Chandler is maybe the best defensive post presence in the past fifteen years. I doubt anyone will ever say that about WCS.

Good on ya bro!

I have no problem with that. I think WCS' upside is at least Chandler, but more from a well-rounded perspective than strictly defense alone.

I do. I watch Kentucky all the time. I know his background, I know he was a 1,000+ yard WR in high school. He's tremendous. I think he'll be long gone by the time we pick. He's a top-10 prospect in almost any draft, let alone a **** one like this. I just think he's a notch below what Tyson Chandler was physically entering the draft.

I think people forget how phenomenal Tyson Chandler was out of Dominguez.

I think you are confusing me with Cyrone Torbin or whatever needs Wes is going great by now.

There ya go being an *** again. How many more good people are you going to run off this site before a mod makes you tone it down a little, I wonder.
