Following potential 2013 draftees

Nothing about Trey Burke's performance today really affected my opinion that he'd be a good mid 1st-round pick for Utah. Really a tale of 2 halves for him - in the first half Indiana was successful in funneling him away from the screen directly into their help defense. In the 2nd-half they did the same thing but Oladipo was unable to keep Burke from getting to his spots. Burke was able to change direction on Oladipo and get back to the screen where he hit a couple pull-ups jumpers, got down on the baseline and kicked to the corner, and then iirc he went right - dribble-veered on Zeller and pulled-up for a floater. Still like him as a "right-fit PG" - not a star but a good PG on good team type player.

Exactly the way I see him too. A quality value pick in the mid-first that should be a long-term contributor to a good team.. at least as a backup, maybe as a starter.

That's not bad at all. This team doesn't need a superstar at PG, we need a distributor with a good three point shot who isn't turnover prone and will be good at getting the team into transition.

He hits all the points for me.

Slap it up flip it rub it down.. OHHHHHHhh

*Oh Nooooo!

Anyway, the question with Trey Burke is whether he'll be able to get to and finish at the rim in the NBA. That last play where he missed on the drive isn't going to help answer that question in his favor. Most of his points came from outside. The free-throws aren't a big deal overall. He's normally an 80% ft shooter.

I say we trade our 1st first round pick down to Cleveland for their Miami pick (30th probably) and their Orlando pick (2nd round. 2nd pick probably.)
Take Giannis Adetokunbo with the Golden State pick and stash him away in Europe. Nate Wolters with the Miami pick. With the Orlando pick we get Mike Muscala and with our pick in the second round, O.D. Anosike.

Nate Wolters PG
23.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.6 assists

Mike Muscala C
19.1 points, 11.3 rebounds

O.D. Anosike F (sister plays for Los Angeles Sparks apparently)
12.9 points, 11.4 rebounds (led the nation last year with 12.5)

BAM! That's my draft and I'm sticking with it.

Next years lineup will look something like this.....

Mo (sigh), Travis Leslie, Nate Wolters
Alec Burks, Randy Foye, Kevin Murphy(?)
Gordon Hayward, DeMarre Carroll, Jeremy Evans
Derrick Favors, Marvin Williams, O.D Anosike
Enes Kanter, Samuel Dalembert, Mike Muscala

#14 for #30 and #32? Smh.

Which player would you rather have? (both 5'10 point guards in high school)
#1. 10.0 PPG, 3.0 RPG, and 2.4 APG.
#2. 9.2 PPG, 1.9 RPG, and 4.1 APG.
