Following potential 2013 draftees

Watching Syracuse vs. Seton Hall today, it's 34-34 at half but Seton Hall is outplaying Syracuse. James Southerland has hit 5 threes for Syracuse that is the only reason they are in the game. Michael Carter-Williams played very good this half, 4 points, 6 assists, and 2 rebounds. Always looks to set his teammates up first and then scoring comes second. Definiitely a pass-first point guard and you can't really tell how good of a defender he is because of Syracuse's 2-3 Zone, but he does have really good size for a point guard at 6-6.

I'm watching this game too. I think MCW has an edge over Burke on defense with his long arms, 2.9 steals per game this year. Not to mention challenging 3 pointers. He turns it over more than 3 times a game though and is only shooting 28% from 3's. He does get nearly 5 rebounds a game so I wonder if KOC will look at that.

Carter-Williams is going off....

Sorry Nic Triple K...

But I'm no more on the Burke band wagon....

KOL go get Carter-Williams!!!

MCW finished with 6 points, 14 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and only 1 turnover in a 75-63 win over Seton Hall. MCW tied the assist record in the Big East Tournament and he only had 1 turnover and that came with about 2 minutes left in the game.

LOL.. Zulu!! I think they're neck and neck in terms of where they'll go in the draft IMO.

Do you go for a steady hand in Burke who sets up players & shoots 3's. Or do you go with the potential that MCW brings with his length, passing & finishing ability. But don't forget that Burke also brings a tremendous amount of leadership to the team.

At the end of the day I think it'll be a case of who Dallas will pick first and who we're left to pick at the #14 spot.

I also think they're close. I'd take Burke.

Yep me too, with the way our bigs are going to dominate down low, we need a 3pt shooter at the PG spot to spread the floor. Burke also brings leadership quality to bring our young guys together once all the vets are gone (fingers crossed).

Move Westbrick to shooting guard? I don't know, would Phoenix take one? Doubtful they have Dragic and Marshall who they think will be good.

Yeah, even Dallas - if they can get their hands on WCS or one of the quality bigs - won't they take them? Kaman and Brand aren't exactly in their future I don't think ...

I like how Carter-Williams controls the ball... He will drive in then pull back and all along keeping his tall frame erect surveying the floor !!!
