Following potential 2013 draftees

I watched Johny Flynn when he was in auckland playing for the Melbourne Tigers against the Breakers, Cedric Jackson outplayed him. Breakers won 94 - 64, He didnt seem that great his stats were

mins FG FG% 3P 3P% FT FT% OR DR TR As St Bl TO Fls Pts
J.Flynn 24:07 5/9 56 1/1 100 4/4 100 0 3 3 3 1 0 6 2 15
C.Jackson 25:45 12/17 71 2/4 50 2/2 100 2 8 10 10 4 0 5 4 28

So what does the "B" at least stand for?

Question for PKM... Have you spoken to any SEC coaches about Marshall Henderson? I'm curious what they think of him... I noticed he was left off the All-SEC team [/qoute]

I haven't. He plays with energy and passion, I'll give him that.. but I don't care for his schtik and wouldn't waste valuable conversation on him.

Sorry.. ;)

Idk, man. We have to hope he does well, just not well enough that he launches out of our range. Maybe hope Burke puts up his averages, but nothing more and Michigan loses in the Elite 8?

I doubt Michigan will go far in the tournament this year. (sorry Bluenote!!) Their front court is really lacking. They're playing Stausky, Tim Hardaway Jnr. and Glen Robinson III at the SG, SF and PF positions. GRIII is strong, but he is 6'5.

In the Wisconsin game, Michigan really got abused down low - basically Wisconsin just kept dumping the ball down low to their PF/C and watch as Michigan tried to guard them. Against any team with a decent front court I think they'll struggle.

It's too late, but they really should have been playing GRIII at the small forward position all season. Morgan at the 4 and McGary at the 5.

True.. they can still do that I suppose... Morgan is more of a Center though... but yes they can do that depending on match ups.

Morgans natural position is at the 4 and thats what he prefers playing. There's actually a little contention on the team (from him) that he isnt in that spot. If Hardaway leaves this year I think they will go with that lineup next year with Stauskis at the 2 and a pretty decent freshman pg recruit.

Good stuff. Hope you're right, and it seems like you could be. What's your prediction? Sweet Sixteen?

Yes, and it'll get too tough for them from there on.

Good for us though re Burke, but it's bittersweet for me as I've become a fan following Burke this season.. LOL

I still can't believe Cal's credence isn't enough to get them into the tourney. They could have done some damage. Now I think it's pretty clear WCS won't declare, unless he got a promise from a team?

Its a double-edged sword. On one hand the committee wants UK in because the fans travel the best of any team inbthe country. On the other.. every body knows this and it makes it highly political. Regardless, we didn't deserve in.

No, never lol. Just a hunch from watching highlights. Just a gut feeling from those highlights, and see some Lawson in him.

Hard to take any prediction serisouly when you haven't watched a guy play a game yet. You are venturing into Wesmantooth/Tony Mitchell territory.

Burke vs. Wolters is clearly the must see game, but here’s a few more PG related things to watch for in the tourney:

Whoever wins the Burke vs. Walters matchup will likely face VCU in the next round with its reputation for turnover-inducing pressure defense.

MCW (Syracuse) vs Montana tough-defending guards (esp. Will Cherry) in a first round game. Remember Montana was one reason many people couldn’t quite wrap their heads around Damien Lillard as a legit prospect last year. Lillard just didn’t really have good games against them, nor could Weber beat Montana when it counted.

If Marcus Smart and OK St win their first two games (no sure thing, since they’ll be a #5 seed), they’ll likely face the same Louisville defense that obliterated MCW & Syracuse in the second half of the Big East Championship.
