Following potential 2013 draftees

If the Jazz got Trey Burke and Giannis [insert last name], that would be a great draft. I don't care what our draft positions are. Those are two potential impact starters.
Then we could pick up a bench player in the 2nd round, like Canaan, Westermann, Patric Young, etc. We can always pick up a back-up big through free agency.

I like players like McCollum, Olynyk and Cauley-Stein, and it would be difficult to pass on them, but I don't think they can help us as much.

LOL.. yes this draft has become a "Trey Burke And ............." draft!!!!

Everyone's got their own version... Oladipo, Porter, Giannis, Robinson III, etc.

Um no, I've been on the WCS, Saric and Wolters bandwagon for a while. Others are just now starting to see the light. There is no Burke for me.

Every fan of every team likes Burke. There has been less negative written about him than most #1 picks. It makes it really hard to imagine that we have a shot at him in the late lottery.

I'm hoping for Burke and then any number of players with the GSW pick that might be available: Olynyk, Saric, Goodwin, etc.

I have four scouts that are going to let me know what they think by the game in the tourney and their opinion of slotting.

None of the four are UT scouts, btw. One Pacers, one Knicks, and two Magic.

This will be interesting. If they get a top 3 pick, I wonder if they'll pick Smart. And if not, what would be the next team picking him.

Wow thanks for the heads up:o

On a more serious note part of me pimping Canaan is because of the Lillard's rise to power in the draft last year. Him being an elite scorer for a little known school that rose up the draft board as the weeks went along, just saw some parallels between him and Canaan. Thought I'd jump on that a little after underestimating Lillard last year. Its probably too early to compare him to Lawson, but I do feel he could be on par or better then Kemba Walker. I feel he has some NBA ready skills.

Is the reason no one one is talking about him, because no one has seen him play?

This is just ridiculous he's the most pure pg in the league. He's not close to being a combo guard. What have you been watching??

I was Pimping Canaan a bit earlier in the season, Cant remember which page I mentioned him on; But I remember a few poster weren't very high oh him. I have watched him play a couple times; and he is a very good scorer from a small school, I would definitely take him in the 2nd round if we miss a pg in the first and wolters is gone.

Canaan might be worth taking in the second, sure. Wolters interests me more, but I think that is becoming unanimous.

the problem with Canaan is his numbers have gone down this year to last. with older players teams don't like to see regression.
