Jazz Employee Reminds Fans They Are Lucky To Have A Team In Salt Lake City

I think at one point we were far and away the most successful small market franchise in the NBA (maybe second to San Antonio - if you truly consider them small market considering they're a Texas team). However, the last 13 years - the last five? It becomes more muddled. Hell, Memphis is a more impressive franchise at the moment than Utah.
That's right, the storied Memphis Grizzlies who compiled in the last 13 years an impressive record of 4 first round exits, 1 second round exit and 8 lottery seasons.

Utah is lucky to have the Jazz. However what the Jazz Org. has forgotten I think is that they are lucky to have Utah. They have a wildly rabid fan base all to themselves. The down side of that is that the fanbase in questions demands effort at all levels and success.

It is obvious to anyone who watches the Jazz play that Ty Corbin doesn't really understand how to coach a team. It is obvious to anyone who watches the Jazz that the players don't understand what they need to do at the end of games to close out teams. Clock mismanagement and Corbin playing the wrong guys is what got us in this situation this year.

I don't know how Utah can justify keeping Corbin on as a coach after the past few seasons of this. All we here is "well it has to make sense for us to make moves". well keeping Corbin around doesn't make sense, he obviously can't coach players, isn't teaching them how to manage the clock at the end of games, and his "system" isn't working. Sticking with veteran players when younger/less experienced players are out playing them is horrendous.

I found this, and first thought it was a joke. Then thought this thread was a good place to post it.

Greg Miller @GregInUtah The LHM Group is launching a training company. Any interest to have us teach your team our ways of Leadership, Sales, Service and Execution?

How 'bout it? YOu guys want Randy Rigby and Ty Corbin instructing your team about success? Maybe Milsap teaching a brown bag on leadership? A break-out session from KOC on communication?

Yeah, that must be it. Fanz are being executed.

I think I got it wrong.

Who would like to hear KOC give a break out session to the sales team on how to close a deal?

Maybe Randy Rigby could teach the admin assistants how to use copy machines.

It's crazy. I think part of the success of this team has always been with Sloan as the coach, you know you can win any game. You know you can make the finals. You know he can take young scrubs (Russell, Andersen, Brewer, Millsap, etc) and turn them into good, over-rated players. You knew that he could take really good players and make them All-Stars (Boozer, AK, Memo, etc).

Now that Sloan is gone, there isn't that Hope anymore. All we know is that Corbin, Jefferson, and vet company suck.

Also, with Larry around, you knew that Larry would keep heat on Sloan to do his best. That is gone as well.
The Jazz do not have that identity anymore.

Exactly my point. We've slid so far in the league the last few years that currently, Memphis is putting together a better run than Utah. Not only are they a lock for the playoffs again this year, they're currently looking at a top-three seed. Quick, go check the last time the Jazz scored the three-seed in the NBA playoffs!

I think this was a response to all the fans who yes have the right to complain however they like but are whining and complaining like spoiled little kids.

All I'm saying is there is a right way to do it and Bodi and YB had good posts voicing their complaints and GVC and others have been able to have issues but be rational voicing their displeasure to the point of pointing out people making the same complaints as them are wrong about certain things within that complaint.

Whereas the vocal majority who are the most vocal are usually the least rational and most come across as the spoiled child.

Anyway that's how I took it, Matt ignored the spoiled kid for a bit to try and not feed it the attention it craves and didn't want to make a public display by spanking the spoiled child in public. So he just politely reminded the spoiled child, you know you don't have to have a TV/PS3/Xbox-360 in your room.

You're wrong and your post is stupid.

Move the team to Vegas. **** it. I'll be a fan of this franchise no matter where they are.

If this were to happen, I would be too PO'd to continue to be a fan of this franchise and the NBA. I guess it would mean more time to do other things.
