Corbin just owned Poppovich

Look at the evidence, it can't be denied.

17 seconds left and Corbin works magic.
Gregg expects a foul & Corbin outthinks him going for the turnover. Almost gets it.
Spurs up by three.
Corbin knows they will foul so he calls a fake play. Foul.
Another play has already been called.
Marvin Sploosh!

Poppovich is pissed. Corbin just ate him up on Popps own floor, with superior players.

Wish I could have seen it. Not being a Corbin fan, at all.. I would love to see something that convinced me he knows the game rather than lucks out on some occasions.

Oh wow Mo is now 1-18 on late game chucks it sounds like. I didn't watch a second of tonights game. To be honest I was thinking it was tomorrow night. Either way I knew I wasn't going to waste my friday night watching them lose to the spurs.

Typical response from posters who can't share in any Jazz success no matter what. I'm happy for Ty tonight. He took a nice leap in late game play calling.

Go Jazz!

I agree in not being able to just cheer. Go Jazz!! Close game.

I just don't get it .. our rising stars playing there buts off and send it to overtime ... yank them all out and put the worst starting line up in the NBA against one of the best ... I turned it off ... I'm listening to the post game now and seems like everyone is just accepting loosing now ... pop would be yelling screaming throwing chairs in the locker room .... YES lets say they did good cause it was a good fight  ... a loss is a loss! WE NEED A WIN!

I don't see some huge leap in coaching ability in Ty on this game. I finally saw some energy from just about everyone who played tonight. It was good to see, but why haven't we seen it the entire season? This team dug a hole that looks to big to climb out of after the AS game.

How do you explain away the final 17 second masterpiece then? Not like that's supposed to come out every game when you don't have players that can keep all of them close.

I explain it like I would under any other coach. Ginobli went for a ball fake by Marvin and flew right past him which ended with Marvin hitting an open 3. I have no idea if the original play call had Marvin as the man in that moment. It could have just as easily been Foye who Ty ended up drawing the play for. I am not trying to sound like I hate Ty. I don't at all. He seems like a very nice guy. He isn't a very good coach IMO. My opinion will certainly change on this game and the final 17 seconds if Ty or someone else comes out and says that was the play all along.

Go Jazz!

2013 Jazz success = Another winnable game lost by Ty not playing the players that got them close....? Okay! As long as that's the benchmark for success! I'm in!

Four more years! Four more years! Four more years! Four more years! ...for Corbin

I guess I just disagree that a game in which we are leading, Then lose is any kind of success.

This

Frank has no idea what play was called..... maybe corbin called the play just like it happened..... maybe he wanted Al or foye to shoot a 3, who knows?
The play ended up working, and then corbin made some coaching mistakes in OT, and in the end popovich just says "look at the final score, who schooled who?"

This as well.
When corbin gets praised for the team losing a game that we should have won (and were winning with less that half the 4th quarter left to go)...... thats when you know the coach sucks
Franklin i applaud you for finding a positive side to losing a game that should have been won.... bravo

Don't be absurd. Popovich is only filled with self-loathing.
