Following potential 2013 draftees

Serious question:

Do scouts take seriously the tourney?

I've read somewhere most team scouts finished their analysis & closed their books just before the tourney starts & don't change their assessment much after that. Cos' how can you study a guy for 20+ odd games and then suddenly change your mind based on 1-2 games?

Heard the same thing and that they close their eyes during pre draft workouts too.

I think it would be hard for someone's projected draft position to change more than 3-4 spots based on the tournament alone. There are exceptions, but that's my take.

I'm sure PKM is the guy to ask about this.

Not true at all. I agree the tourney may not 'change their minds' but it obviously is included in the body of work. Obviously NBA teams want to see how certain players respond to playing with everything on the line... against good competition.. and in hostile environments. Also, how the player progressed throughout the year.

Btw, forget it on the 'Bazz being dumb comment you made.. you're obviously not going to defend your statement.

Lindsey/KOC: 'Bazz just won't fit our team culture, let's leave it at that.
