Following potential 2013 draftees

Just saw Draft Express updated Burke as a #10 pick...I think Cope and I were the only ones that called that one. Jazz are going to have to get creative.

Not if we continue to lose... Hence why we need to keep playing the vets!!! I don't think big al shoots the ball enough...

Do you think a #10 pick for the Jazz is possible? I haven't been following the standings that closely. I thought 12-14 was pretty much a given.

I Googled The Top Point Guard Prospects In The 2013 NBA Draft And I Keep Reading About Isiah Canaan. I've Never Heard Of The Fellow But I Can't Say I Knew Murray State Was An Institution. I Certainly Do Not Mean To Offend Any Alum Should They Read This. I Just Don't Think Burke Is The Right Choice For The Jazz.

I remember reading the same nonsense about CP3. Even more after Duron was benched in favor of captain crunch while CP3 ran away with the rookie of the year. "CP3 just wasn't the right fit." In reality, CP3 would have been just as successful (if not more) than Duron until he had fled us for a big market. The bottom line is, we need a PG. We can't go another year with our 3 headed monster. So if you don't like Burke, fine. But at least provide a better alternative via free agency or draft. If one cannot be found then the Jazz need to draft Burke at any cost. that's the bottom line.

Another year of Mo, Earl, and Jamaal will be doom for next season. It literally doesn't matter who we have at the 2-5 positions as long as we're still manned at the 1 by someone who couldn't even play PG in the D-league.

I've only read the last 10 pages or so, but have you guys discussed C.J. McCollum?

I'm assuming you have since this thread is ~500 pages haha.

With that said, I really like him. I know he's not a pure PG, but he's a creator. Good shooter, good off the drive, athletic, nice wingspan, plays good defense. I can just picture a lineup of McCollum, Burks, Hayward, Favors and Kanter doing well. All of them run the floor well, McCollum, Burks, and Hayward can all handle the ball well, they can initiate the offense, they can create. With the right coach, that'd be an offense that'd be fun as hell to watch.

I'd also consider taking somebody like Kelly Olylnk (sp?) from Gonzaga. He's got nice size, can put the ball on the floor, has low-post moves and can also run the floor. He'd be a nice backup for when/if Jefferson and Millsap leave.
