Tomorrow (April 3) at 2 PM MST I will be leaving for two years to serve an LDS mission.

I'll miss you all, this forum has been pretty fun to post on, I must say, and I've made some good friends here. I've always been really grateful for Jazzfanz cause, as we all know, most supposed Jazz fans don't know ANYTHING about the Jazz and NBA in general and it always gives me a headache talking to them. Thanks for giving me an outlet to have nerdgasms about basketball.

Time to say a few goodbye's (sorry if I forget to mention you, it's not that I don't love you, my brain is just Dal'd up)

- UGLI, I lost my Jazzfanz-meeting-peeps-in-real-life virginity to you and shall never forget that. You better be tailgating when I get back, cause I'd totally be down for coming more often.

The best advice I can give you before I go is to stay away from 1.) Red Robin 2.) Skeletons 3.) ****ing wet bandit mother ****ers

- PKM, I've always appreciated your willingness to share info with all of us you hear from UK. You better still be around when I get back cause the draft threads would lose all credibility without you.

- Orange, sorry I didn't have time to do anything again before leaving, but we will definitely be seeing each other when I get back. TIA for updating me on the Jazz while I'm gone. You're awesome and I will obviously be in touch with you while I'm gone.

- Dal, I <3 you. You're the college roommate/brother/gay lover I never had. Your emails while I'm gone will be much appreciated. Just don't get banned anymore, mm'kay? Jazzfanz needs you.

Btw, you ARE coming to Utah when I get back. No exceptions.

- Cy, keep doing what you do. Just don't forget all of us simpletons when you become a high rolling Park Ranger.

- fish, keep the Burks love coming. The board needs more of it. If you're still in SLC when I move back, we should go to a game sometime.

- Freakazoid, I know commentating for the Jazz takes up most of your time, but you still have Jazzfanz duties, bro. I fully expect you to be a full-time poster again when I return.

- bluenote, it's always nice to find another Lynch lover. You're probably the only other person who is a fan of both Lynch and the Jazz , huh? Crazy that we found each other :)

- Xthren, my prayers are with you. And thanks for those tickets again! You don't know how nice free stuff like that is for a poor college student like myself!

A few predictions before I go:

- The Heat will win the Championship both years I'm gone, giving them a Heat-Three-Peat.

- PKM, according to my calculations, will be up to approximately 257,000,667 posts.

- Dal will be on alt #27.

- The Jazz will not re-sign Al or Millsap this summer. PLEASE, let me be right!

- Wes will watch a lot of porn. A lot.

- At least one of the C4 will be an All-Star in 2015. Seriously, don't underestimate the C4, guys. Favors/Kanter will be the best front court in the NBA in a few years, and Burks/Hayward will be a top 6 or 7 wing combo. We just need a decent PG (BONGO????)

Well, tata, all. I shall return in a few years. Don't have too much fun without me.

GL Spy and have the time of your life. It will be over in a flash and once it's over it's over.

My best advice is to follow your heart and there is more to missionary work than baptisms.

Good luck Spy!!

I shall heed your advice on at least two of those advices's.

There'll be a Utes tailgating spot waiting for you when you get back!

Good luck Spy. If you take your mission seriously, these two years will be an amazing experience for you. And my top two pieces of advice for departing missionaries are to (1) focus more on being a good person than a good missionary (although it's also important to develop the standard "missionary skills", so to speak), and (2) work your butt off! That way you will have no regrets when you return home. All the best.

Awww, no. Thanks for all the rep and entertainment you've given me. Wish I coulda known you better. Good luck!

best of luck to you - I'm sure you'll make the most of your experience. did you mention where you're going? or is it one of those things that you find out when you get there?

Its like pin the tail on the donkey.

Take you to the airport blindfolded, spin you around, then you just board whatever flight you wander onto.

Here's hoping for not Detroit.

Hopefully spy breaks the mold of the jazzfanz poster who goes on their mission and never returs to jazzfanz.

Going to miss ya. Your one of my favorit posters. I'll tell you what one of my MTC teachers told me before I went to Texas....

Give them heaven and teach the hell out of them:o
