Back in the '94 playoffs vs. San Antonio, Dennis Rodman thought he'd talk some **** to Sloan so he asked Jerry, "What do you do for a living?"

Sloan replied "I'm a farmer."

Rodman laughed and then went out and hit Tom Chambers and kneed John Stockton.

Picking a nit, here, but that's not the quote. It makes it sound like Sloan thought Stevenson should have done something, and that's not the case.

"Let him try to get it when the game means something. I was proud of DeShawn and I would have knocked him down harder. They can put me in jail for saying that, but that's the way it is," Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said.

....don't know if Sloan could ever top Scotty Stiles, who use to coach the Bull's. But he once said about that waste of space Curry: "We called a timeout to set up a play for Curry......but I guess the 10,000 times we went over it in practice wasn't enough!"
