Well that's my point. If at the end of the day Cal didn't want him, isn't that the bottom line? I mean it's not like UK had a star studded team this year and couldn't find time for Bazz.

No matter how much talent you have in the world, if you can't be coached or don't play nice with others or can't spell T-E-A-M, is he worth it?

Cal wanted and recruited 'Bazz. However, Cal had a sit down and told pops that he will not be running the show and that 'Bazz will have to earn every minute on the court, etc.
When Cal said this to 'Bazz he LOVED it.. but dad didn't like it one bit.

Pops told 'Bazz to select UCLA (an Adidas school and proximity to handlers). I can't say much more than this, but there are a lot of people that think pops is douche.

@Numb.. I said what I did in post #8499 tongue-in-cheek. Sometimes these kids are really good kids but get polluted.. only to have grown men label them a douche.. when we're often douches ourselves. Nawtimean?

That SOOOOOOO sounds like satan. EVERY year he says the same thing.. so and so is the better shooter I've ever coached.. so and so is the fastest PG I've ever coached.. every year, srsly.

You don't think he could be an Iverson lite type player? He can get to the FT line consistently the way touch fouls are called in the NBA, no?

I just think he's a big time chucker ... and streaky. Not a good enough ball handler/distributor to play PG.

I see him as a short CJ Miles. But I've been wrong many times before..

Honestly, I feel like your hating on him because he goes to Lousiville. He is a great college player even Iverson like, but will he be a nba player we will see. First-round pick for sure this year though book it.

Iverson and Iverson-like players don't have a great history of helping teams win. I'm pretty sure Jason Terry is the most successful combo guard in history in terms of winning.

You have NO idea how completely ridiculous this is.. but I'll give you a pass considering AI has been out of college longer than you've been alive.
