Here's the short version for Hack: After his mother died of cancer, Lamar set up a charity called Cathy's Kids that is intended to raise money for cancer resarch and help underprivileged kids. Reports say that no money has gone from the charity to cancer research, but 60% of the money raised has been used to fund AAU basketball teams.

Looks like the Kardashian greed machine has gotten to Lamar.

Kris Kardashian is involved somehow. He is benefiting by not having to spend his own money, that would be benefiting wouldn't it?

Yeah, but it's not like he would HAVE to fund any AAU basketball teams. I guess Lamar could have helped out the AAU teams and gotten a tax break at the same time if he put some of his money into the charity.

.....that would be a great start, don't ya think? No drugs would certainly benefit mankind! No tats would further dignify the already beautiful human body as it was created in the first place! No hip hop....would eliminate the most obscene and crass noise pollution along with dignifying women once again, which as you know, hip hop destroys!

Yeah, people getting sick and not being able to get treated would be awesome.
 
What the article doesn't mention is that at least one member of Lamar's entourage draws a nice paycheck as a trustee of the charity.

The AAU stuff is Lamar gaining business contacts for his post basketball career off of other people's money.

The whole thing stinks of ****.
 
Everyone pay attention to CJ. He is the best example of how badly some people need their minds altered.
