Rondo on the Jazz?

Kanter, some stiff big guy like Gray or Dalembert

That is a team that has PNR capability, three point shooting, defense...I bet we start slow and finish hard, getting a 6-8 seed ala OKC their first year in the playoffs. BUT, we get a first round upset. That team would be built for the playoffs.

We would also need a new coach.

I would rather have Foye over Korver, but I think someone will overpay Foye, and I want Hayward at the two, which forces Foye out. You could do this:

Burks, Foye
Hayward, Carroll, Williams

This, I bet the type of package we'd have to put together would be like a Favors or Kanter + Carroll + a couple 1st rounders. If we end up signing Paul or Al I wouldn't mind a deal that sent one of Favors or Kanter for a piece like Rondo.

Wouldn't Al fit better on that team? Seems they already have 2 or 3 guys like Millsap who are pretty good.

They are old as hell and will soon be in rebuild hell, and the best way to rebuild, and restock the team is to trade Rondo. Also the Celtics have been much better since he got injured, he's been on the trade block for at least the last two years.
