Al Jeff a 4? Splitter and Burke key additions?

so I got thinking if the Jazz want to keep some vets and let Millsap walk, would Al be better suited at the 4? Sign Splitter as a defensive center? Draft Trey Burke to learn under Mo for a couple years?

I like this core group:

VETERANS YOUNGENS
Mo Williams (30) Trey Burke (20)
Randy Foye (29) Alec Burks (21)
Marvin Williams (26) Gordon Hayward (23)
Al Jefferson (28) Derrick Favors (21)
Tiago Splitter (28) Enes Kanter (20)

Obviously money and length of contract is key for the vets, but with Mo being the oldest at age 30, not too bad of a mix, IMO

Didnt read the OP, but I've said it before and I'll say it again...

Best username on all the Innertrons.

Jefferson cannot guard face-up anythings. He started playing the 5 for that reason.

Haha. Wow. what a joke. Keeping both and Jefferson and Mo= The death of many Jazzfanz... or atleast a front office drug induced Coma.

That starting lineup is just as ****ty as this years starting lineup. If they re-sign both Mo and Jefferson I'll no longer be a Jazz fan. There will be no point. If they continue to start Mo and Jefferson next year then they should have no fans left next year.

I don't see a problem with resiging both of them, considering they're all clicking right now.
Mo for two years and Big Al for 3.
Once Kanter gets healthy, he can fight it out with Big Al on the starting spot.
It comes down to the fact that we don't know what Kanter is going to be like now.

Nobody in the front office had even acknowledged how bad of an injury it might be.

Yea because 5 games against ****ty teams excuses the rest of the season. It was a dislocated shoulder. It is not a knee or something that effect athleticism and other stuff. Kanter has been better than Jefferson for months.
.
The Jazz with Jefferson are boring as hell to watch. It's just not fun watching this team atm.

so what 4(5) wins in a row against 4 crappy teams.
a western conference player of the week.
and everybody is ready to declare jazz championship\
and extend al jef a lifetime contract.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha

OMFG these cats have really short term memory loss

Approx. 50 years of age between two players at each position. Average age of about 25. Everybody can RUN except Jefferdad don't resign Jefferdad.
