He had Draymond Green on him. He knows he can't contest his shot so why not? It's a pretty good shot. Better than trying to run a play and turning over, or running a play and having the ball end up in someone's hand without much time left on the clock.
Corbin actually looked like a coach tonight.
If Mo misses, the Jazz are up by 3 with under 20 secs. left. Ws are under pressure to score and foul or hit a quick 3, and the Jazz get the ball back.

The great part about this win is we can lose in OKC, as we're want to do. Then we have two Minnesota games, and if we win those we're in. Knocking out the Lakers is in our hands now.

Couldn't agree more, I don't think the jazz would've gotten a better look had they run a play, plus their goal was to run clock which means one on one. That was the best shot they were going to get period. I didn't see that as hero play.
