Kobe is willing the lakers to a win right now. 9 min left in the 4th and he has 41 points on 51 persent shooting, 4 blocks, 3 steals, 7 boards, and 4 assists and only 1 TO The Jazz might not make the playoffs just because Kobe is freakin insane. No player has played over 40,000 minutes and dominated the way Kobe still can. No one has ever done it before.

I'm really not. I hate the lakers and love seeing the Jazz beat them, but i can't deny greatness when i see it. Kobe is one of the greats as much as i hate the lakers and hate losing to them, his performance tonight and this year is a testament to his work ethic, and the way he takes care of his body.
 
The Lakers just beat a lotto team with 3 of its heavily used starters missing- they suck so bad this year
 
The Lakers still have to play Houston, Golden State and San Antonio without falling into a tie with the Jazz.

That said, I'd rather pick 14th than 17th with McCollum, Olynyk and possibly Adekotunbo at stake. I don't care to see half our team hug each other and pack up to leave the Jazz after going out 4 - 1 in a series.

...you forget about Wilt Chamberlin? Yeah, Kobe dominated last night....with the help of his little buddies the NBA "Stern" controlled refs! 18 FREE THROWS? Please! He's a jumpshooter for goodness sakes!
 
Kobe sucks but I will say he is playing unbelieveable right now -- still the refs gave him a half-dozen questionable calls that looked to me in some of them that he wasn't even touched.
 
I don't know if the NBA test for PED's but Kobe is suspicious in my book. Players don't get better as they get older. He goes to Germany, has some kind of blood spinning BS, and now he's had a Barry Bonds, Lance Armstrong type of season.
 
If he plays every game through the end of the season like the one he did tonight, all 48 minutes, 4 blocks, 8 rebounds, 47 points, 5 assists, and only 1 TO, they deserve to be in the playoffs.

Over 50% from the field, 100% on 18 FT's.
