edit: Actually, I take that back. Jefferson took Kanter under his wing and I really appreciate him for that. Kanter would be no where near where he is now if Jefferson wasn't on the team. I'd say the worst decision is probably not trading Millsap by the deadline.
Why does it matter what the Jazz were being offered for Jefferson (or Millsap)? Honestly.
Long-term contracts would hamper the teams flexibility in the upcoming off-season.

Holy ****, let me start over: THERE ARE OTHER PLAYERS THAT EXPIRED THIS YEAR. Operating from that starting point, what is the practical loss of trading one of them for practically nothing?
None of those. Mo made sense in theory, we needed a PG. Harris was pretty bad last year and Marvin filled a need, he just hasn't played well. Who knows what teams were offering for Sap or Al so its tough to say it was a mistake.
problem is we need a offensive system. joh Stockton in his 2nd-4th year would have sucked in this lineup.
there is no offensive cohesion/system.
only way sotckton would not have sucked if he played most his minutes with kanter favors hayward and pick and roll with sap.
but put stockton with marvin williams, randy foye and al jefferson.
what will stockton do dump it down to al. watch al dribble 10 seconds than al shoots.
stock gets no assist.
first we need an offensive system. THEN a point guard
