Sign the Fire Ty Petition

Corbin is the worst coach in NBA history.

I hate him.

Every single year, he only sees mistakes on other factors. He never criticizes himself. That makes me sick!

He has not shown one freakin' positive reason why we should keep him!

I want his big butt and boobs out of town!

Look guys, I am probably TyCo's biggest critic. I have called for his head all season. I wanted him fired mid-season. I wanted him fired with 14 games left. I was disappointed to hear Lindsey voice support for him.
I'm not coming out in support of the guy. If they announced tomorrow he was being fired, I would rejoice. However....
....he really did (seem to) rally the team the last 12-14 games when we all had basically given up hope, and most teams probably would have too.
....he really did have a difficult situation with 8-9 free agents.
....he really did have a difficult problem of "too many" good bigs, etc.
....his record did improve from last year.
....he showed signs (although small ones, and slowly) of making rotation changes...ish.
....Dennis Lindsey did say they would have some tough conversations with TyCo next week.

I'm not making excuses for him, and I still don't like him as our coach. However, he will be here next year....so I (for now) am going to ease up my criticisms (a little), look for positives, and hope against hope that he improves and figures it out a little more next year. If he doesn't, then I'm back on the fire TyCo bandwagon.....the bandwagon I've never fully left in the first place.

Umm no. He lost 9 more games this year and won 6 more. That's not better. His "problem" of having good players yet used the worst possible combinations was disheartening. So he sucked cause his players were too good. Worst excuse in the history of excuses.

Only 152 signatures on the petition so far -- guess this petition has been up awhile, but since I posted it on here last night, there have been about an additional 40, but it says they need a total of 1,000 though I'm not sure what the significance of 1,000 is.

i wont sign the petition cus it wont help.
not one bit
what did sloan say
dont listen to the fans
or you'll end up sitting next to them.

why should they listen now

157 and counting ... maybe it won't do any good, but at least they know there are people out there who aren't happy with Corbin. I'm surprised that there are only 157. The petition apparently started sometime in March, but I just learned about the day I posted it. Plus, for whatever reason, the mods won't sticky this. I've heard people say that the Utah sponsor this site, but I always thought this was an independent venture of Jason. But the fact that the mods, or at least most of them -- for some reason Sirkicky has been silent for quite a while -- want Corbin out, so maybe Jason is against stickying this (I know Colton also doesn't like Corbin based on his comments).

maybe some people would like to stay anonymous

Being realistic is better then foolishly thinking Ty is a legit nba coach. Quietly sitting by and not pointing out his deficiencies is worse than not voicing the reality of Corbins horrible coaching. If you don't want to see people "whining" about Corbin you might not want to open and reply to a thread with the label "fire Ty."

You say you're being "realistic" but once people jump on the "fire Ty" train they blind themselves to anything good he does.

You must not know anything about NBA history.

I can agree to a lot of that. But in my mind it still leaves a big issue with Ty: why did it take so long to make adjustments? HC in the NBA is supposed to be the best of the best. With Ty, the Jazz seem willing to take a flyer and hope this guy can prove he can become the best of the best. And taking so long to make adjustments also indicates he is not a quick enough learner to ever become that good.

Also, my biggest problem with Ty is his belief is Big Al, Fool's Gold. What Big Al gives you offense is more than given back on defense. And its obvious and has been all along.

I signed it, but don't think its gonna go anywhere. Every team has fans that complain about the coach, players FO ect. Only difference for us is that the national media see's how inept Corbin is, but the FO thinks he's an ok guy

big al had an epic 22 points and 16 rebounds in his last game

I looked at it. Don't really think it accomplishes anything except giving my personal information to sombody to sell. No thanks.

I get the Change.org petitions in my email for a lot of different things. It never seemed or occurred to me that they had any purpose other than promoting a person's cause. But maybe I'm wrong. If someone could show otherwise, I'd be interested.
